Outstanding value and location for access to central Los Angeles. Would recommend and stay there again.

If you're looking for a Motel 6 level stay, I'd think it would be hard to beat this place. Cheaper, cleaner, more convenient to downtown LA, this place met all my requirements and left me feeling satisfied for finding such a good deal.

“good value for a reasonably priced hotel”

I've actually stayed in this hotel twice with in the last 30 days. I'm pleased with the level of value for the money. The hotel does not offer amenitities like a fitness room or pool, but it is a very good place to stay when all you want is a place to sleep for a night or two. It passed my personal pet peeve test. The water pressure in the shower (for both rooms) was not week and feeble. I was able to take a very nice shower. I know, its petty, but its what I like.

“Pleasant Stay at the Royal Pagoda.”

Although my stay was a short one, I was most comfortable and especially enjoyed the motel's proximity to wonderful restaurants and other local flavors. As an extra bonus, this location in Chinatown didn't feel like L.A. at all. Friendly, courteous folk.

“Great hotel for the price, very happy with it.”

I first read the reviews and was a little worried about the hotel, since there were a few bad reviews. Well I ended up choosing it because of the price and time matter. Well all I can say is that I was very pleased with the hotel. It wasnt it the best area of Los Angeles but my friends and I would stay out till 2 am and never felt in danger (of course always being aware of our sorroundings). The hotel rooms were big enough for us and the air conditioner worked great, it quickly cooled the room up for us. It was generally quiet except for the times when cars with loud exhausts passed by. The hotel is located within walking distance from the Metro gold line wich would take you to the Union station where there is easy access to all other buses and metro lines in case you do not rent a car. Overall the hotel was great for the price and my friends and I have planned to go back there when we go back to Los Angeles.

“Great rate for a one night stay”

The hotel was very comfortable for one night's sleep and shower the next morning which was really all we needed the room for. The bathroom can use some maintenance and the temperature in the room without the a/c was very cold, no heater, good thing I always bring my own blanket and pillow. Very adequate for the use, I had other business to do in the area as was not planning to spend all day in the room during my stay. I would definitely stay again on an overnight trip if need be.
