“Very impressed!”
The hotel room was very comfortable and super clean. I like the extra comfortable bed witch had the duvet and the comfortable pillows. The room also had a microwave and a small refrigerator as well as flat panel television. The staff were helpful and it seemed they all took pride in the things they did. The location was central. Only gripe would be the parking. The hotel was very busy when I checked in and I had to park at an auxillay parking area. They did charge an additional $7 for that. Overall, the Rodeway Inn in Long Beach was very nice.
“"Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover"”
Not only is the Rodeway Inn walking distance from restaurants, bars, and a shopping mall in downtown Long Beach. It is also close to the Queen Mary which was where my wife and I were embarking on a Carnival Cruise to the Mexican Rivera. The Inn itself has a retro exterior look which may not come off as modern as the hotels around it. But the interior of the rooms are very nice with its crown molding, dark and modern furniture, and comfortable bedding. These personal touches create a cozy space for a tenant staying at the Rodeway Inn to use the internet, a fringe, and microwave all comfortably located within the room. When staying in Long Beach in the future we will defiantly stay at the Rodeway Inn again. Its location, cozy interiors, helpful staff, and competitive rates made our stay one to remember.
“pleasant stay”
The hotel doesn't look like much from the street, but it was very nice inside. I found the bed to be very comfortable and found more ammenities in the bathroom than I expected. It was an easy walk to the convention center. The breakfast was limited, but I thought that to be a minor issue.
“Not bad for the price”
If you need a one or two night's motel stay for a reasonable price, this is a pretty good choice. The room was clean with everything you might need such as a refrigerator, blowdryer, iron, etc. The only thing I really missed is a coffee maker. Coffee is available at the front checkin/out which is an outside walk through the parking lot. Not fun first thing in the morning. There is an adjacent alley and thin walls, but I don't want to get too picky. It's not the Marriott, but clean and adequate.

It was a nice room. I coffee maker would have been great to have.

Very quiet, very clean, very quaint. Close to attractions. I enjoyed it.

Friendly staff, very nice room for the price, and very quiet for the location. Definitely stay there again if up in Long Beach again.

I felt safe, but the lighting in the room was very poor, the refrigerator was not working, and only plastic (rather than glass) cups were available.

Good location but just ok. Good for a cheap place close to everything.
