“Great hotel great location”
I really enjoyed our stay here. The surrounding area has great choices for restaurants.
“Great place to stay at affordable $$$”
First time staying in Long Beach CA and was not disappointed! Hotel was walking distance to the Convention Center, Aquarium, and local marina for whale watching and tours. Restaurants in the same area and vary in cusine. You can valet park for a charge or self park for free. Planning to stay here again on our next trip to Long Beach.
“So pleased with our stay!”
We were in town attending a school competition at the convention center. Of the multiple families in our group, we were the only ones staying and the Renaissance. Location was fantastic for walking to the convention center, shopping and shorline village attractions. The hotel accomodations (pool, restaurants, gym, etc...) were better than other area hotels so various families came back to our hotel for nightly swimming and dinner. An overall great experience.
“Wonderful personnel”
The rooms are not nothing outside this world, but the breakfast buffet was great and also the hotel personnel. The hotel is very convenient because of its location. There are restaurants close by.
“Good value. Friendly staff.”
Main criticism was that there is not a person who is a designated hotel concierge and the info that was needed was not known or always accurate.
“Convention Center Close”
I booked a "harbor view" room and that's exactly what I got--a lovely view of the Queen Mary. The hotel was very close to the convention center (I was attending the 58th National Square Dance Convention) and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was very quiet and the bed was comfy and had lots of nice, soft pillows! I'd recommend this hotel.
“Lovely stay”
I throughly enjoyed my stay. I was in town to partake in Long Beach Pride. Needless to say, It was a VERY busy and active weekend and the staff was very friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean and cozy. The wine bar SIP had a great selection. The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to several restaurants as well as Shoreline Village. I will absolutely stay there again when I return to the area.
“Quality Hotel with a good location.”
We arrived last and we were given a room next to the elevators. I requested a room change and they accomodatated us. We were able to walk to many interesting locations. The bus service picks up close to the hotel. It is convenient to the best the town has to offer. Room service was also good. Very good value for the quality of the property. Not quite as upscale as the Weston
“The Center of Long Beach”
Overall, we're very satisfied with our stay. Clean and Comfortable.
“Convenient location”
Easy access to waterfront and downtown shopping and restaurants
