“Excellent location”

We stayed at Renaissance Hotel for last 2 days of our American holiday, and found the location of the Hotel in the centre of Grauman's Theatre, Kodak Theatre and Walk of Fame to be extremely handy for visiting these sites. We have no complaints about the Hotel, would only like to comment on Breakfast in The Twist Restaurant. I think it a bit underhanded of the waiters to go around offering orange juice and coffee as soon as you sit down in the Restaurant. One gets the feeling that these beverages are complimentary and then when you get the bill, you see you have been charged for 2 serves of orange juice and 2 serves of coffee. It is a bit underhanded to do that, and left me feeling a bit cross. It really isn't a professional thing to do.

“FANTASTIC HOTEL, FANTASTIC LOCATION”

This is a lovely hotel. Friendly staff, beautiful clean hotel. Extremely close to everything. From hotel's front door, walk left 100m and you are at the Walk of Fame and Chinese Theatre. Beautiful pool and bar area and a nice gym. Room was a good size, nice clean bathroom. Felt very safe walking 100m through shopping mall to main street. UNIVERSAL... Do not buy transfers to Universal. It is only a few dollars on the train/ Metro which is on the main street located next to the shopping mall that you walk through to main street. It is a very simple trip- one stop up the track. When you get out of the metro all you have to do is go to the opposite corner at the traffic lights and there are shuttle buses running constantly to Universal. I would recommend getting there half hour before park opens so there is not too much of a rush. And i recommend with the money that you saved from the transfers, buy the front of line pass because we walked straight into every ride and show and we stil only just got everything done by 7pm when the park shut. Enjoy!

“Hollywood Renaissance is truly great”

My Girlfriend and I went to LA and experienced Hollywood as well. We are considering a life move to California and thought I should experience everything this area has to offer. We wanted to see Hollywood Blvd from our hotel so we stayed in a room facing the street, we loved it. At the hotel everything was EXTREMELY organized and easy to make transitions day to day especially because of the fabulous location(CENTER OF IT ALL). I would stay here over and over again but I am considering buying a home in the Hills possibly a condo so I wouldn't need to. But I would suggest this to anyone that wants to see the Kodak theater, Hollywood, Clubs and wants to experience Hollywood in the highest fashion possible. A++ in my book.

“The spa in the hotel was wonderful too! Beautiful & brand new!”

Nice size rooms & great pool. Room service was efficient. Nice staff. The only thing I did not like was the breakfast - too formal in the restaurant & thn too little to choose from in the lobby. Everything else I really enjoyed at the hotal. Terrific spa - beautiful space & brand new.
