“LA Downtown hotel”

For the price I paid, the hotel was good and in the proximity of the Convention Center (or Staples Center) where my conference was taking place. The staff were very friendly. No continental breakfast. Few good fast food restaurants are in the neighborhood. Overall, there was nothing to complain. Good place for stay.

“We liked it”

Great hotel for the price. Clean room, walking distance to restaurants, and possibly to Staple Center (a mile or two). Not too many hotels have "two queen beds" nowadays but this one does! A lot better than "two double beds".

Good price, decent room and customer service. Nothing to complain about. I recommend this hotel for affordable budget.

“Loved the retro architecture with updated interiors”

Loved the retro feel of the architecture. Courtyards were really nice, clean, and had a great view of the pool. Liked that the rooms were updated with all the modern conveniences. Really enjoyed the attached restaurant with good food, nice selection of adult beverages, and great prices, plus the patio area with space heaters created a fabulous atmosphere for a cool March evening. Only wished the ice machines and soda dispensers worked. Also at certain times of the day the internet was so bogged down by hotel users that it was difficult to stay online, although it was not nearly as bad as this very experienced traveler has encountered at other hotels in the past.

“Decent hotel in Great Location!”

Overall our stay was fine. I did spend almost 2 hours on the phone the first night with their internet tech line trying to get the wireless internet to work in our room. We couldn't get it to work until the second night. The staff wasn't unfriendly but not overly pleasant either. But other than those 2 things, things were ok. Great location!!

“Good price for a buget hotel, neighborhood not so great”

I was in LA on business at the convention center. The hotel is a little worn, but the room was neat and clean everyday, fresh towels, microwave, small refrigerator and coffee pot in room. If you are looking for a place to just sleep and take a shower, I would recommend this hotel, but be prepared for a neighborhood that is not the best, I certainly would not walk anywhere after dark. There are not any real amenities at this location and most of the rooms are older style, outside access surrounding an interior patio area. I was very comfortable however, and the limited selection of food at The Spot bar/restaurant was good and reasonably priced. I understand that this used to be a Clarion, and that Ramada has only taken over recently.

Hotel was a great deal for the location near the convention center. Staff was helpful, room was fine. Great Korean restraunt across street.

“Great location and value”

An excellent choice when travelling to Downtown L.A., really close to the Staples Center, Convention Center. Clean, comfortable and also has a great gourmet tapas restaurant. Great for travelling with family or friends

“Not super, but it was good for this price...”

we enjoyed our stay, everything was good. The room was clean. We didn't pay for parking. This is an advantage. We paid for the breakfast, but Ican say that the breakfast was good enough for us. There wasn't too much alternatives, but it was Ok.
