“Friendly Place”

This was a great stay. The price was reasonable, and the room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was nice, with hot (waffles, bacon) and cold (muffins, cereal, bread, fruit, yogurt) food on a nice outdoor 2nd-floor patio. Reception desk was very friendly and helpful. An easy walk to the pier and the beach, lots of nice restaurants in that area.

“I love Hermosa Beach, California”

Hotel needs to change sheets daily. It's very noisy from outside when we go to sleep. There is no sign of beach for oceanview in our room. We thought there is big swimming pool but it's small spa pool and it's very hot water.

“Great Stay”

We stayed for 5 days and were very comfortable at this hotel. The staff was very responsive, and the hotel had a lot of amenities. It's not a luxury hotel, but it was a great place to stay. There are a number of restaurants nearby, and it backs onto a grocery store. It is also close to the South Bay Galleria mall. There was a fridge and coffee maker in the room, and a balcony, so it really felt homey. The free breakfast and gym were nice add-ons, and there was a coin-op washer/dryer to use after our trip to the Outlet Mall. Hermosa Beach is nicely situated between Long Beach and L.A., so we just rented a car and hit all the sites. It has free parking and the neighbourhood feels safe. It's close to Redondo Beach and Manhattan Beach, which were great beaches to visit. Would definitely stay again.

Avoid taking a room next to the road - very poor sound-proofing ensures lack of quiet.
