“Great value for money!”

The Park Plaza Lodge is a cute retro-looking little hotel with wonderful proprietors/staff who made us feel very welcome. The location can't be beat; it's within easy walking distance of the Farmer's Market & The Grove, LACMA and the design shops on LaBrea, and about a 15-20 minute leisurely walk to the shopping on Melrose. There is convenient local bus service if you don't drive and free parking if you do. A cafe on the opposite corner has great coffee and pastries for breakfast and there's a restaurant attached to the hotel. The room was clean and super comfy; the bathroom was brand new with a spacious shower and lots of hot water. Drawbacks: the pool is small and "no frills" and 3rd is noisy with traffic during the day, though it quiets down at night so we had no problem sleeping. We would definitely stay here again. It was great value for the money.

“Tina”

Location was really nice.....very close to the Grove and farmer's market. No elevator which made it difficult with our luggage.

“Great Location!”

I liked it. 5-10 min walk to the Grove, which is an excellent outdoor shopping mall. This place is close to Hollywood as well. Coffee Bean was right across the street. Staff was kind and room was clean. I enjoyed free wifi, too.

“Best kept secret”

I can't stop praising about the Park Plaza, and as they say in real estate ... location, location, location ... very well located including parking and WiFi. The people are always on the beyond the call of duty. Mac friendly. I highly recommend this hotel the price to bang ratio is fantastic. Can't wait to go back. Be confident you will not be disappointed.

“A pleasant surprise”

I booked this hotel because it was one of the cheapest deals without having to share a bathroom with other guests. I did not expect much. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and nice. The restaurant next door was also really good. I will be back.

“Satisfied Stay”

This hotel was in an ideal location, but tis not a Hyatt or Holiday Inn. Staff are friendly enough and allowed us to keep our car park on grounds for a few extra hours after we checked out. If your going to a CBS studio tapping it's close enough to walk.

“Good deal for the location!”

I have stayed in the West Hollywood/Beverly Hills area several times and as hotel prices have risen over the last 7 years, I find it increasingly difficult to get a good hotel at a good price. However, I was so happy with the Park Plaza! What a good deal at less than The Beverly Laurel (stayed there last time). Park Plaza is a boutique hotel on par with the Laurel with better upgrades - i.e., a spanking gorgeous new bathroom and super comfy new beds. The hotel is typical of a boutique in that it is an older building with a small pool but I liked it a lot. For the price, I would pick the Plaza over the other places I have stayed - the Bev Carlyle onm Robertson, the Ramada on Santa Monica, and the Bev Laurel!

“Good budget hotel in LA, no concerns”

A simple but decently maintained hotel, close to attractions. Great for LA on a budget.
