“perfect hideaway”
Absolute perfection for two days. Rooms are pristine and comfortable, super clean and bright. Restaurant is spectacular with perfect representation of the original Harry's Bar iconic menu items. Hotel is posh without being high-luster....very understated, lovely, with everyone treated well. Can't overstate this last point - have stayed in other 5 stars in LA and often faux celebrities get better treatment and tables. At Mr. C, everyone is treated like royalty, without any fawning fanciness. Old-fashioned A+ quality hotel LA really needs. If you can't get to Europe, this is the perfect answer for a weekend getaway (The only addition would be RAI television....!)
“chic..”
i liked their staff, they were very kind. neighborhood is quiet so that was a plus. you can't park on the street, but if you walk a bit, you can even find street parking instead of valeting all the time

“Perfect!”
Matched and exceeded our expectations in almost every area.
“Great Hotel”
Very nice hotel. The only complaint I have is the outside noise of sirens all night which isn't the hotels fault. I was very impressed with how courteous everyone was. Great job to everyone there.
“As good as they say”
Having booked this hotel based on previous reviews, I'm delighted to report that my stay was practically perfect. The rooms are large, modern, stylish and very comfortable. We had an upgrade to a room facing the Holllywood Hills, and yes you could see the famous sign. Early mornings sitting on the balcony reading the complementary newspaper was the perfect start to each day. (I think the upgrade to Hill view is well worth the extra if you intend using the balcony as the city view rooms overlook quite a busy road) The staff were very attentive and the Bellini on arrival was just one of many nice touches that make this a successful boutique hotel. The restauant is very popular with locals, and for good reason. My only wish, that the iItalian menu....a description of what the meal was. I thought I knew what I had ordered, but I was wrong! That said the food was fabulous, and the panda coat was to die for. I always like to stroll on holiday and for us, it was a pleasant walk to Rodeo Drive although a free house car is available for those who prefer to spend more time shopping. A good neighbourhood and one I felt very safe walking around day or early evening.
“A great hotel and good value.”
We had our three kids with us and it worked very well for a family. Angel the courtesy driver was fantastic and took us everywhere we wanted to go. We thoroughly recommend Mr C.
