“Nice place, would go back.”

The Marriott might be a little intimidating to get to if your not used to L.A. However it is in a great location for getting around downtown. The hotel is large enough that you don't feel cramped. The food a bit pricey, but there are plenty of options around town. The staff was friendly and exceptionally helpful. I would definitely go back.

“Great alternative to overpriced nearby”

I was scheduled to attend a conference at a nearby hotel that was overpriced and had no vacancies. The Marriot was within walking distance and had better prices and accommodations.

This is a grandiose, splendid hotel in every sense. From the block long facade to the marvelous upscale room, everything was perfect. It is not a budget hotel, but if you want to treat yourself, stay there by all means.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The junior suite was spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Convenient location.

I recently traveled with my son to visit five college campuses. He had a music audition in LA. The Marriot in LA was exquisite! We had a beautiful picture window that overlooked the pool and there were huge palm trees reaching up to our 5th floor window! The rooms were extremely nice!

Le Marriott Los Angeles Downton est particulièrement bien situé par rapport aux salles de spectacle musical à LA et aux lieux d'intérêt touristique Downton. D'un excellent confort, il offre aussi un petit déjeuner buffet copieux et varié, comportant des plats chauds comme le porridge et des omelettes. Le personnel est d'une extrême courtoisie.

“Great place to stay”

I don't generally write reviews, but I must say that the hotel lobby was well maintained, and so was the room. My only issue with the room was the condition of the carpet. It wasn't awful, but it had some wear and tear. But if that's my only complaint about the hotel, then I think that is pretty good. It's about a mile to the convention center, but its a quick, safe walk... but I wouldn't do it too late at night. There's a lot in the area, or a quick cab ride away. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and offers great suggestions on where to go and what to do in the area surrounding. Props to them on their excellent service.

It was a wonderful, relaxing experience. I loved the comfort and the expansive view. It was an elegant hotel oriented to adults, and I imagine, to business travelers. I enjoyed very much the pool and its surroundings. A great shape.

Beautiful place. Very clean. Excellent service. What more can I say? Thorougly enjoyed it.
