“Lovely hotel, would stay again”
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Located near the airport,Venice Beach just round the corner, very convenient. Clean and very well presented.Would definately stay again.
“Great Value”
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times The rooms are huge !! Its location is fantastic very close to LAX and just a few short blocks to Venice beach board walk where you can rent a bicycle and ride all the way to Santa Monica. The restaurant was good I would definitly stay there again. Front desk staff were very friendly and courteous
“Good hotel - a little far to walk to the beach”
Clean, cortious staff, small pool, very good overall, however the hotel is situated in a main road, near the marina but about a 15 minutes walk to the beach. So if you don't mind the walk, the hotel is highly recommended.
“will go again!”
excellent location, reasonable price and nice room.it was better than our expectation!!!
“Great location reasonably priced....”
Great location and reasonably priced...Enjoyed the stay. Loved the swimming pool and jacuzzi.
“We would go back”
Nice location, helpful staff and spacious rooms
“A nice inexpensive hotel with a friendly staff in a great location.”
My husband and I went on a long weekend to Marina Del Rey to see our family. The hotel was in a perfect location, right across from the marina. The staff was very friendly. We had breakfast in the hotel's restaurant a couple of times. It was a little pricey but the food was very good and there was a lot of it. There's a restaurant across the street but we never had a chance to try it. There's plenty of sidewalks for walking to local shops, Venice canals, etc. The hotel is older and needs a little updating but it was clean. Other drawback is that the thermostat in your room doesn't work. You have to call the front desk to change the room temperature. For the price it was well worth the money. They even supply cottonballs and q-tips in your rooms. :-) That's a first for me. My husband and I would highly recommend this hotel if you're not picky about the decor.
“Bungalow is best!”
We stayed at the Marina International Hotel for two weeks and we were more than happy. As I was planning to propose to my girlfriend the manager of the hotel upgraded our stay to a private bungalow. This made our stay even more enjoyable. Now don't expect 5 star and I don't think you could complain too much about anything. My only gripe is that the walls are thin enough to hear your neighbours talking to each other (if they talk loudly, which Americans do in all fairness!). Besides that the place was satisfactory enough for us. We spent our days sightseeing and visiting attractions - so we were up first thing and back last thing at night, as a result we didn't see to much of the bar and other facilities. I really loved the place though and when we go back to LA in the future the Marina International Hotel is the first place we will be looking to stay. The location is great too. Not too far from the beach (Santa Monica is walking distance) and close to the interstates. Just don't expect too much, sure it isn't 5 star but I can honestly say that the place is good. A happy customer.
“Very nice hotel for travelling by car”
This is an excellent hotel if u have a car, has free parking and very nice rooms. It is a little far from downtown LA butprovides access to beaches.
“Can't wait to go back”
I like this hotel very much. The room is spacious and clean. It has all the things that I need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. I have stayed in this hotel before, and I always like to stay at this hotel when I travel to LA for pleasure.
