“Close to LAX but Quiet”
We stayed only one night at the La Quinta Inn as it was convienent to LAX and has a complimentary shuttle. Dispite this the room was very quiet, for being that close to the airport. Our room was clean as everything as expected. The pool was closed for some maintenance or issue but looked alright being up outside on the third or forth floor. If you don't have a car along with you there is not much to do but for staying overnight it was not a problem. Breakfast was good with lot's of food and room to eat as they use the hotel dining area and bar. I would stay here again for the convienience and price.
“Perfect layover hotel”
Basic, clean, quiet, and close to the airport.
“Cant wait to go back”
Excellent :) Loved the room and especially the breakfast.
“Slipping”
Just renovated, but last two time I stayed here, room was not made up properly (one set of towles, missing pillows with no cases), or had things broken in the room.
“Great value. Very friendly staff”
Very friendly staff. Great breakfast that changed everyday.
“Good value”
Overall a good choice for the money! Easy shuttle from LAX, room clean and modern upgrades with a comfy bed. Continental breakfast was better than most with eggs hashbrowns and all the fixings. The neighborhood is just industrial but what do you expect next to an airport.
“Skip it and stay elsewhere if you can”
Somehow, seeing higher reviews on TripAdvisor, I thought the place would be better than it was. No 'shop' downstairs nor any in walking distance, inedible breakfast, had to buy bottled water (none complimentary in room). Room service stopped at 9pm. Poor selection of TV channels. Ugly, old room. stained carpet. Only plus was comfortable bed. If you're coming to sleep off jet lag and have food and water with you and expect nothing else, then you're it's tolerable. Otherwise, an overpriced dump.
“Great hotel”
Everything was awesome except a little street noise. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant. Lots of room to work out in gym for that size of hotel.
“La Quinta”
I stayed here mainly because of its approximately to LAX. Actually, I was quite pleased and pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel. I liked that the hotels in the area have combined to create a shuttle service that leaves about every 15 or 20 minutes for the airport. The surrounding area is nothing to write home about and I wouldn't recommend the hotel's location if you're looking to spend time in LA and do sightseeing But as a one night place to stay prior to catching a flight from LAX, it's fine.
“Small rooms, but still nice place to stay”
Everyone was extremely nice at this location. It is very close to LAX, and just a shuttle ride away. It was on an extremely busy street with mostly business places and hotels.....not any shopping close by. The restaurant at this location was also good, and with a very nice continental breakfast with your stay. I had an issue with the TV not working and help was sent immediately to fix the problem. Again, all the staff was very nice. All in all a nice stay, and if I need to stay near LAX again, it will be here.
