“A warm place to stay”
Spa-food great, hotel service is very good, but very poor pool
“Fantastic Hotel”
Great location on the beach with a short walk to everything,Pier, Restaurants and shops. Room was beautifully appointed and had everything you could imagine. The bathroom was the largest for a hotel room i have ever come across. The pool area was kept immaculate and the pool temperature was perfect.The only negatives were very slow and inconsistent service in the restaurant no matter what time of day you were there, even if it was quiet. The $7.00 charge to fill the ice bucket for the room was absolutely disgusting and the hotel should take a good look at itself over something like that, it put a blemish over an otherwise beautiful stay.The $34.00 a night valet parking charge was also steep but in keeping with other hotel charges around Santa Monica. It is not cheap to stay here but if you can i am sure you will love it. Serenity & sunshine bliss,can't wait to go back.

“Best secret in Santa Monica”
Next to the more commercial Loew's, this gem is quiet, quaint, and comfortable. Great getaway with a special someone or a solid business hotel. Not a lot of "action" if that's what you're craving. Staff is awesome.
“Amazing!”
This has to be the best hotel i've ever stayed in. I'm young and i'm use to being treated that way, however the entire staff did nothing but treat us with the most respect and made our stay the best possible. It's located only about a block and a half from the beach and with valet parking. Its close to pier so there is no shortage of fun. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms didn't feel at all like we were at a hotel.
“Great Hotel - Listen to customers requests though!”
I asked for a room overlooking the courtyard (facing the ocean) - I was given a room facing the street. Every time I have stayed in the past my requests have been honoured. I was too tired to argue after an 11 hour flight.
“A great place to stay”
1/2 block off the SM beach, the Marriott is a great alternative to those right on the sand. Service is very attentive, spa is exceptional, beds were very very comfortable. On the con side, the pool is a bit small and poolside service was spotty (free flavoured water was a hit with the kids). Also, extras are a bit pricey and in-hotel eating option is only one expensive restaurant.
“Business & pleasure!”
A colleague and I were over in Santa Monica on business, however we managed to find some spare time to explore! The concierge were extremely helpful in arranging a hire car for us for a day so we could do just that! All in all, staff great, food, great, hotel cleanliness great and weather fantastic!!! Highly recommended!
“Wonderful stay in Santa Monica”
Stayed at his hotel for four nights. It was a wonderful experience. Close to everthing. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Will certainly stay here on future trips.
