AVIA Long Beach is a stylish downtown retreat within 2 to 3 blocks of the waterfront, the Aquarium of the Pacific, and the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. Shoreline Village, the Long Beach Shoreline Marina, shops, restaurants, and nightlife are also just steps away.
AVIA's rooftop pool terrace has a hardwood sundeck with a mobile bar, curvy and comfortable lounge chairs, intimate seating nooks, and private cabanas. From the terrace, guests can see the city, harbor, sunsets, and, in the distance, the legendary Queen Mary ocean liner. The Rooftop Pool Terrace is occasionally closed for private events.
The AVIA Kitchen + Dining Room features breakfast buffets, a small-plates dinner menu, and a wine list showcasing small-vineyard exclusives. The AVIA Wine Bar + Lounge serves premium wines, craft brews, and signature cocktails.
Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel. AVIA Long Beach is completely nonsmoking.

The staff was friendlt and obliging.. they behave as if they really enjoy helping you. And the bed... and the SHEETS were sooo comfortable. Nice breakfast in the dining room, too.

“Loved our own Rooftop Pool!”
We recently stayed at the Avia Hotel in Long Beach California and were originally booked for 2 nights. We loved it so much we stayed a further 2 nights and were able to receive the same rate as the one we booked through Expedia. The room was very chic but posibly on the small side for an Amercian hotel large with a very comfortable bed with lovely egyptian cotton sheets. The walk in shower was just lovely with 2 large shower heads. The rooftop pool was gorgeous with views overlooing the water and the Queen Mary . On 2 days we practically had it to ourselves. The pool was closed 2 evenings for private functions but not until 5 pm. I would definetely recomend this hotel and in particular its helpful friendly staff. Well done
