“Great hotel excellent customer service”

These guys go the extra mile for customers. I have travelled all over the world and this hotel was a 4.5 star customer service. We checked in and requested another room with better internet access, and them came up and helped us to the new room. Later we asked for a coffee pot TV remote (missing) and they brought one up. They even programmed the remote for us. In returning the next day I asked if they had a tooth brush, and the manager we to the store and delivered the tooth brush tooth paste to the room and no charge. I was amazed at the customer service that they gave I stayed at 5 stars hotels that didn’t do half what these guys did.

Hotel staff was very nice. The room condition was very clean. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Overall it was a nice stay. Quality was good for the price. The front desk staff was nice to let us checkout an hour later when we asked for the extra time.

“Very good satisfaction/price ratio”

I had to walk more than a mile to the city center but the area is safe so it was not a big problem. The hotel and the room was clean. The staff were quite helpful. They even offered me to their own cell phone for a call that I had to make after I checked out.

“What a great find - we are sure to go back”

The room was really big and comfortable with a huge bed. Local amenities all on the doorstep. Bath could have been a tad cleaner and the coffee wasn't replaced every day. Great value for money. We will definitely stay there again.

Great location, generous room size with room temperature just perfect. Totally great experience and will definitely come back next time.

“No stress vacation”

When we checked into our room #217 it was ready, clean and very welcoming. It is situated on the right and in the back of the hotel and it was quiet and peaceful. As seniors this is very much needed. We have stayed at this hotel for many years and always look forward to it. When we go to Pasadena we depend on our being able to rest under pleasant circumstances and we are never disappointed. The items provided for breakfast were healthy and delicious. The making of reservations is easy as the staff is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We appreciate good service and that is what we received.

“Was in town for the University of Texas/UCLA game”

The hotel was in a convenient location to the Rose Bowl and Old Pasadena. Had a great time walking Colorado Blvd. with my wife and daughter. The room was basic. Just a place to sleep. Area was quiet. Service was nice. Parking lot was small. Would go back and stay. Great price for the location.

“HOWARD JOHNSON NEEDS WORK”

The room I was given was a good size layout it had a seperate bedroom from a good size sitting area with a couch and table and TV. However the furniture was terrible and it looked like something that you would find and at a swapmeeet it was old and in really bad shape and didn't even match, the TV in the sitting room looked like something from the 80's, the TV in the bedroom was not any better and they had to bring me a remote for it and program it. This used to be an independant hotel and now they are part of the Howard Johnson chain. Last but not least the "pool" was I'm estimating about 9'x9' and about 3 ft. deep they might as well not advertise they have a pool.

a bit noisy, but for the money it´s okay...the city is beautiful and safe, ideal distance to LA, even has a burger king near!

The room was clean but worn. I did not use the breakfast.
