“Highlight of Santa Monica”
The hotel Shangri La was just perfect, I cannot fault this hotel. You couldn't ask for a better location, just 2 blocks from 3rd st Prominade and 3 blocks from Santa Monica Pier. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful. The standard of the room was just impeccable and I think it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. They also have a great pool area to lounge about on hot days. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Excellent Experience”
We stayed at Shangri La as our first stop on our honeymoon and had a great time there. We were in a larger room with the separate lounge room which was spacious and very comfortable. The facilities available and service from the hotel staff was outstanding. We definitely recommend this hotel if you want comfort, great service in a modern environment!

The Shangri-La hotel was a terrific pick if you want to be right near the ocean in Santa Monica - a great strolling area with the 3rd St. shops and restaurants quite nearby. Staff was terrific and helpful and the rooms were quite lovely - this hotel has just undergone a huge remodel and has wonderful prices because it's a "soft opening" with the pool and restaurant not yet operational. However, they did provide a nice continental breakfast in one of the suites and that was convenient and of good quality. We'll return, for sure, as we have family in the area.
“Great Staff, Great Location”
The staff at the reception/concierge desk were amazing. They were extremely helpful and patient and always available. The location was excellent on Santa Monica Beach and close to the 3rd Street Promenade. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is a beautiful piece of architecture with much attention to detail. Spotlessly clean with excellent service from every staff member we encountered. Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Absolutely stunning location. Very nostalgic atmosphere. I WILL stay there again.
