The waterfront Hotel Maya - a Doubletree by Hilton Hotel is a half-mile from the Queen Mary cruise ship terminal, and the Aquarium of the Pacific, and three-quarters of a mile from the Long Beach Convention Center. Downtown Long Beach, one mile away, is easily accessible via complimentary public shuttle or water taxi. Hotel Maya - a Doubletree by Hilton Hotel has immediate access to all major freeways and is convenient to the Orange County, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Burbank, and Ontario airports. Self and valet parking (surcharge) available.

The five-story Hotel Maya - a Doubletree by Hilton Hotel offers 197 guestrooms, all with bay or garden views. Beds feature double-sided pillowtop mattresses (cushioning on top and bottom), choice of pillows including hypo-allergenic, feather down, and therapeutic varieties, and decorative stone headboards. 37-inch flat-screen, HDTVs come with cable and complimentary HBO. Wireless Internet access is complimentary.
Rooms include compact refrigerators. Bathrooms feature granite countertops, massage showerheads, and Lather bath products. Other standard room amenities clock radios, CD players, and iPod docking stations. Most rooms also have private balconies or patios. All rooms are nonsmoking.

Recreation
The outdoor heated lap pool overlooks the harbor. The fitness room, open from morning to night, contains an elliptical machine, treadmill, stationary bicycle and Universal gym. A beach volleyball court, bocce ball, tennis, and basketball courts are adjacent to the main building. Bicycle and Segway rentals are also available.
A running path is right outside the hotel, and a marina with a boat launch and kayak rentals is adjacent. A marina across the bridge in Long Beach, one mile from the hotel, offers motorboat rental. The Recreation Park Golf Course 18 is 5.75 miles away.

“Excellent hotel at a great price”
Lovely Hotel. Stayed there after we went on a cruise. Nice big rooms. We had a room in building 1 on the ground floor with a nice patio overlooking the water. Lovely coffee maker in room. Small fridge too. Big TV. Lap pool with almost luke warm water.(In December!) Wish we had time to swim. Free city bus service till midnight to surrounding areas pick you up right at hotel with many stops close to restaurants and Shoreline village. Check in was a bit weird when the lady checking us in kept talking to someone on a 2 way radio while I was mid sentence. No apology. Just started talking into this radio mid sentence at least 3 times during our 3 minute interaction. She did let us choose a room after she explained where they were located so that was nice. Room attendants were very nice and friendly. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. (I think this hotel was recently upgraded/updated. Think it used to go by another name.)
“Too bad we weren't there longer!”
We stayed at the Maya the night before our cruise and found it to be very convenient. The staff were all helpful, the only bad part is that we got in after a long of flying and travel and weren't able to enjoy the amenities.

Very comfortable and nice view from our room. Walking distance to cruise centre.

We had bottom floor facing harbour. Beautiful view very private. Pool clean and quiet. Room spacious. Staff very helpful. Our two boys enjoyed the pool and basketball area. I would highly recommend. Loved the decor. We arrived at 11am and they checked us in right away. 10 min walk from cruise terminal.

“Great Hotel”
It was a really great hotel. I was a bit concerned about it opening up to a courtyard but I really liked it. Great lighting as well.
“Excellent Service, Value, Location”
Service was excellent, greeted by name and given cookies (Which Impressed our son). When we enquired if there was any chance of a Marina view the room was changed without any issues. All facilities were superb, the room clean and well serviced. Room service delivered quicker than promised. The regular free bus shuttle into Long Beach was also a bonus. The hotel even offered to arrange free transport to local restaurants. If visting this area again we would definitely choose this hotel and take more advantage of the facilties on offer. One thing to note if booking is that there is a charge for parking.

“Couldn't be better”
From the minute I arrived at 11.30 am the staff couldn't have been more helpful! I was given a room to rest in while my room was being serviced. The rooms are clean and spacious and very comfortable. Perfect for before and after a cruise and the shuttle to and from the cruise terminal a extra bonus. Wireless internet throughout and if you dont have a laptop with you then you get 20 mins free in the lobby. Long Beach shuttle service stops outside the hotel for easy access downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

A bit difficult to find, but nice. Modern facilities, free shuttle stops here, good restaurant on premises, quiet location.
