Bad business

Posted 27-Mar-2015
I accidently booked the wrong night for my stay in Glendale. I tried to get my $170 back the same day and they refused to reimburse me. There are plenty of other hotels that I'll choose from next time. I know that's not the same situation that most people will be in, but it was pretty bad business in my opinion .

hotel very nice, and cozy!

Posted 25-Mar-2015
Pros: cozy
make sure your housekeepers change out the 1/2 used lotion bottle in the bathroom:( also, need to tell you guess that stairs are used - just incase someone that cannot go upstairs the front stairs are alot of steps for someone that is not conditioned.

very uncomfortable bed and loud air conditioning

Posted 23-Mar-2015
Pros: Not much
Cons: Maybe the staff could be more understanding and handle the complaints more professionally. I believe these people really count on one time business.
Could not really stay in this facility and vacated our room at 1:00 A.M., because the king size bed was very uncomfortable and squeaky, to a point that we could not sleep and also the air conditioning unit was rather loud, whenever it came on. When this was brought up to the attention of the management the next day, they basically said that a squeaky bed or the loud air conditioning is not a good reason for us to vacate the room.

Perfectly located hotel for Glendale

Posted 17-Mar-2015
The entire check in staff & house keeping staff were very upbeat & cheerful. I stayed twice within a week here. The rooms are nice & clean, very comfortable beds as well. Location is perfect for downtown Glendale, right on Brand Ave, next to Porto's, surrounded by many restaurants/bars, and down the street from Americana & Glendale Galleria. Parking was easy, right behind the hotel, shared with Bank of America, with access to the hotel from the back of the building as well.

Terrible parking and access

Posted 4-Mar-2015
Hard to find. Only a single regular size door to enter had to unload bags in a bus zone ad there is limited street parking and maximum 2 hours on street. Parking is located on a back street second level of bank parking. Hotel rooms on second floor. From the front entrance, Steep stairs to second floor. Difficult for seniors carrying suitcases. Night shift workers offered to carry bags but when we brought them on to first floor no one came to help. High price for zero service. Room decor is very nice. However, we would never stay again.

Once was Okay but Enough

Posted 28-Feb-2015
Pros: The room was clean and met all the basic need.
Cons: A valet service at the very least.
Location: Restaurants are it as you are downtown Glendale.
I knew there were stairs but the parking arrangement is across the alley and on the top of a parking garage. If you have to make more than one trip with your stuff, you will soon hate those stairs. Add going out for dinner and breakfast and you have gotten your daily exercise out of the way. There was construction going on until 5 PM which made an afternoon nap tough. No safe. No deposit box at the desk.

Hidden gem!

Posted 21-Feb-2015
Pros: the cleanliness, friendliness of staff, unique architecture and interior design, comfortability of rooms
Cons: everything was perfect!
Location: It is so close to shopping (only a few blocks down), and it is surrounded by so many options of food to eat from all cultures and all prices!
It is definitely a hidden gem, something rare to find in many cities these days. I was so happy to find a very helpful, and welcoming staff upon my arrival. They gave me a hand with my bags and were always eager to help when necessary! The rooms are just the right, comfortable size--clean and well designed! Not to mention the very soft, fluffy beds! Definitely would recommend to anyone who is looking for a unique stay!
