“Best Kept Secret In Hollywood !!!”

Very Clean Rooms. We were pleasantly surprised as to how beautiful this hotel was. Free parking in their lot was a huge plus especially in Hollywood. I've paid $20-$30 for parking at other hotels. We asked for extra towels at 2am and they brought it to us immediately. Really got the feeling of old Hollywood, but with plasma TV's :)). Loved this place. I'm glad I found it.

“Great price and excellent hotel”

This hotel is priced very very well and the rooms are all fully remodeled and very very clean. I've been to so many motels and hotels in los angeles and I can assure you the cost to stay here is well worth it. Cable TV, big flatscreen's, A/C, clean bathrooms, and historic paintings all over!

Beautiful building. Very quiet and comfortable. Like your new apartment thats a hotel. Conveinient. In a great part of town. Affordable and fun.

The hotel is the most affordable in the area and not too far from all the tourist attractions. It's got a really cool feeling to it. Not just another ordinary hotel. I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend.

“Great Value for Hollywood Hotel”

Quite quaint and reminescent of an old European Hotel. Cannot beat the value anywhere in Southern California. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and in the process of updating carpet. My suggestion would be to request a room on the alley side of the hotel vs street side as I think it may be more quiet. Save your money and stay here. Even your parking is free and if you know LA, that just does NOT happen anywhere! Hats off to the Hollywood Historic Hotel!

“Old World Hollywood”

Perfect for my needs. Professional attentive staff. Room featured enormous kitchenette and delightfully comfortable king bed. The 85 year old elevator was out of order, but the three flight walk up revealed the feel of classic hollywood. Old world hotel with no frills amenities, but suitable and perfect-- and a great price point. Not at all seedy, and very enjoyable. I was working at neaby Paramount studios, and it was all of a 3-5 minute walk to the Bronson gate.

“Un ilot dans hollywood”

Je n'ai passé qu'une nuit dans cet hotel, mais qu'elle souvenir. Nous sommes arrivés très tot le matin, environ 7h30 8h après une nuit sans dormir, et a 9h30 nous faisions notre check in.(et une sieste après une nuit dans le bus). Le quartier est moche a souhait, mais en arrivant devant l'hotel, nous étions sur que ca ne pouvait aps être le notre, tellement mignon et qui semble si luxueux... et bien si. Le personnel a été gentil comme jamais. Le check in avancé, la garde de nos bagages, ils nous ont en outre indiqué tout pour nous occuper en attendant le check in(aller prendre un petit dejeuné a dennys pas trop loin) et les directions vers les attractions locales et les transports en commun. J'ai du insisté pour lui laisser un tips !!! incroyable. La chambre en elle même était géniale, sous le toit, bien décoré comme les chambres de chateaux en Europe, et avec une vue sur le signe hollywood. Seul point négatif de cet hotel, l'accés un peu dur depuis les transports en commun avec les changements a répétitions, mais on a réussi a s'en sortir. C'est surement plus simple avec une voiture. Je recommanderais sans hésitation cet hotel.

“Was good for what I paid”

It was and alright experience. The hotel was clean and the rooms had air conditioning and a flat screen tv with cable included.

You get what you pay for...maybe a little bit more if you book early and get a really good deal. No elevators and no room is on the first floor.

“Weekend in LA”

Good location. Great price. LA is an expensive city to live or travel in, but this hotel is a bargain. It's located close to the freeway with easy access to all the popular spots in LA. ie: Santa Monica, Venice Beach, & Hollywood. Its not the newest furnishings, there is a lack of electrical outlets in the room, & the bathroom is a bit small, but overall this was a good price & location. I'd definitely stay here again & recommend it to others.
