Excellent customer service!

Pros: Clean, efficient staff, and complimentary shuttle service
Cons: Update pool and recreation areas. Extend shuttle service to include downtown tourist area for a small fee.
Location: This was the only draw back, limited activities
Kudos to Tiffany and the registration desk staff and Noel (he's a gem ) in shuttle on making my four day business trip very pleasant. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful and answered all my questions regarding my accomodations and bus transportation around Long Beach. The free shuttle service around the area was a nice bonus. I look forward to my next " vacation" visit to California and staying at the Holiday Inn.

Pros: elevators were fast
Cons: the whole place needs updating
Location: right across the freeway from the airport (noise)...you have to travel a few miles to get to anything
way to much money considering the facilities...no free breakfast...restaurant is too expensive and not that great...

Thieves

Laundry for 18 stories plus, it's 1 Wagner and 1 dryer. Maid service will steal things from your room as they did mine. Then when you cask then on, you get no apology, the maid will simply sneak back in and put the item back. Video of this. The manager will refuse to make a report. I would not stay here again ever. Motel 6 was way better and honest

Not very close to downtown

Overall the hotel was nice. We wished there was a continental breakfast, and they charged for local calls. Our TV cable kept going on and out as well. Overall, it was comfortable enough. Expect to hear planes and a lot of sirens due to the area.

The hotel is old and needs overall renovation

The hotel needs renovation. Windows need to be replaced with new ones with double glazing for sound insulation. The chair in the room is not comfortable. Staff were helpful.

Great location, great view of city area.

The location, view at night, cute little balcony and room was very nice. The only weird thing is the shower, couldn't figure it out at first. You have to pull the ring attached to the faucet.
