Carnival Cruise

Only stayed one night before departing on a Carnival Cruise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary shuttle was great! We were able to get to restaurants, an ATM, liquor store and market. Our shuttle driver was awesome! He made us laugh the whole time. We enjoyed great food and cocktails at the penthouse restaurant in the hotel. Will definitely recommend!

Nice hotel, close to freeway.

Pros: Close to people we needed to see.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we had was quiet, not facing the freeway mor airport.

My daughter left her wallet in our room. We didn't realize it until we got back home the next day. There was $250 cash in the wallet and credit cards. We called the hotel, they said they had the wallet with everything in it. They Fed Ex'd it and we received it in 3 days with everything in it. The staff and hotel manager were awesome !!

Expensive hotel for the facilities.

Expensive hotel for the facilities. Good service at the restaurant. Old and not care facilities. We booked and paid for 3 adults and at the reception didnt want to give us the voucher for the breakfast for 3 adults. I dont think i will stay again there

Hotel is decent but upgrade if you can.

Hotel was next to freeway & small airport. Standard, lower priced rooms are old & small but it was clean. Upgrade if you can to much nicer rooms. Otherwise overall stay was decent for lower priced room.

Good hotel at a good price

Pros: Location, price, comfort.
Cons: A free breakfast would be nice as some hotels offer this as a benefit of the stay.
Location: Close to the airport and easy access to various areas (beaches, LA city, etc...)
I needed a place to stay for a working weekend. It was close to where I needed to go, it was comfortable, clean, and has a nice panoramic view at the top where the hotels restaurant is located. It is close to the LAX airport as well.

Cons: To start the management staff needs to be trained on how to be customer focused, also the hotel needs maintenance.
Hotel staff that is not customer service based, we asked for soap and shampoo and additional towels from the housekeeping staff and the attendant had the worst attitude, she actually rolled her eyes and sighed before giving us the items requested, she seemed like we were bothering her by asking for the items that our room lacked. The room keys had to be replaced 4 times during our two night stay and the front desk told us that we caused the keys to become demagnetized by placing them in my wallet and my in my wife's purse. The front desk staff didn't speak or act professionally either, it seemed that they were just going through the motions instead of actually caring about the customers or their experience, while we were checking in the two individuals were having personal conversations and one of them actually took out their cell phone and checked a text message instead of completing the check in process. The hotel is old and has small rooms with thin walls, we could hear our neighboring rooms conversations clearly. The carpet was stained and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. We asked for assistance because of an issue with our vehicle and instead of caring or trying to be helpful the front desk just told me we can't get involved it is not our policy. The food in the restaurant located in the hotel was also not prepared properly from undercooked sausages to runny eggs and stale bread for toast, we couldn't even eat the complimentary breakfast.
