Window blind in our room would not close. Front desk person offered us another room, the blind did not work on that window either. Had to sleep with a blind 8 inches open. Terrible

That specific room type that you book was a Handicap Accessible Standard King room. Meaning these two rooms have some slight changes including the blinds being activated using a remote that was above your nightstand on the wall. Both blinds are working fine. We apologize if this was an inconvenience for you. I hope you will give all IHG hotels an opportunity to gain your trust and show you the outstanding service we normally provide.

The receptionist at the hotel charged me twice and I couldn’t spend money for the next two days on my credit card and the customer service was terrible. They never allow me to finish my conversation. they always interrupt me.

Hi Mr. Hamid-Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I was with the front desk agent when were were trying to resolve your issue. The card was authorized for the entire stay on your credit card, which is the normal procedure. However, we reversed the authorization immediately when you chose to pay cash. I understand how frustrating it must have been to not be able to use your credit card until the issue got resolved. I really heard you when you spoke of this to us, which is why I gave a discount on the room well below the current rate you were quoted. I was hoping that resolving the issue and offering a discount would be a satisfactory resolution to the matter, but I would again apologize if it was not.I am sorry that you felt that we did not let you finish your conversation. I did in fact want to hear what you had to say and also care very deeply about providing you great customer service. I will definitely use your experience with us to train my staff should an issue like this rise again. Please feel free to reach out at any time.

Don’t stay here! Horrible experience! This Holiday Inn Express on Ventura Blvd and Sale Ave in Woodland Hills is a piece of crap! The hotel staff is terrible (they didn’t clean the room, it was disgustingly filthy, the “cleaning “ staff was obnoxious and loud, and even went through my personal belongings that I had in the dresser). When I complained to the manager, he didn’t care one bit, and acted as if it was my own fault. I’ll never stay there again!

Also it appears that you didn't mention anything about needing any additional cleaning until you checked out. We can always offer more cleaning when messes are made after housekeeping has already cleaned your room, if you ask for it. We hope you come back and give us a chance by asking if you need any additional amenities from the hotel.

Had a nice stay here. Came to visit a friend for a few days. Plenty of options in area to eat and can walk to. Room was pretty clean. Bed was very comfy. Would stay again.

There was a $100 incidental deposit that I was not made aware of until I arrived and I was going to pay cash. But ended up using a card bc I didn’t bring enough cash to cover that. The room had not been vacuumed and there was trash on the floor. The room was also freezing including the bathroom. The bathroom had no heat and we could not shower. Then I was yelled at by the woman at the desk for my two support dogs as I was going into the elevator. She did this in front of other customers at the front desk. She did not even give me a chance to say they were my support animals. I drove 6 hours here or I would have left. A horrible experience

Hi,We require a 100 deposit from all our guests is is stated in the reservation screen and conformation. We also do not take cash, only credit cards. When you checked in, there was no mention of any service animals, and when you came in later, you had rushed through the lobby to the elevator. Because of this the front desk agent assumed they were pets being snuck in, and advised that we do not accept pets at the hotel.

I didn’t like the area the hotel is in. The guy in the front desk was rude and not a super pleasant check-in. The inside of the room was clean but the hotel (lobby & surroundings) doesn’t look like the pictures on Expedia.

Clean and comfortable but bring earplugs. Our 2nd floor room was right next to a dumpster from the business next door. Trucks beeping backing up, people working (talking, yelling, goofing around) starting very early (5:30-6 am). Sounded like they were in our room!

Well first thee we room was ok the only problem I have was that my room 311 had a plumbing issue with the bath tub would not drain properly filled up around a foot of water but other then that the surrounding area was great a lot of food choices around

I'd stay here again.
Was pleasantly surprised. Room was modern and comfortable. No funky hotel smell. Remote didn't work great (but do they ever?) Only missing amenity would be wash cloths. Sort of weird having to use hand towels in their place. Bathroom was supplied with plenty of hand towels and bath towels though. I liked the Dove products that were dispensed rather than little un-eco friendly travel size bottles. Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Hand Wash and Body Lotion. Very nice. Breakfast had lots of choices and there was plenty there as we were late eaters. It was free. Not going to complain about quality. But there was fresh fruit and yogurt if the hot stuff didn't turn you on. Front desk girl was very nice when we checked in and helped us find some late night food spots near by.

Great for our one night stay. Room was clean, the area was not too busy/loud, plenty of food options nearby. The breakfast was tasty and the attendant was very kind. No complaints. Thank you!

The room was amazing. Large, clean like it was brand new. There were Dove products in the bathroom!! Lots of great pillows. Parking was HORRIBLE, not enough. Weird set up. There were no blankets in the room. You have to ask for blankets and towels. (2 hand towels and one bath towel in room. There were 3 of us.) at the time of check in, approximately 9ish (pm) . When we did ask we were told they were washing them come back in an hour. When we did we were told they were all gone. Unfortunately left my curling iron behind, no one reported finding it. Had to buy a new one.
