“Practical choice in Glendale”

If you don't want to get completely dressed to go out before you have that first cup of morning coffee, these places are perfect. Homestead in Glendale gave us great service at the desk (the young lady working the late shift was especially gracious). The beds were comfortable, it was clean, there's a stovetop, coffeemaker, dishes, pots and pans--everything you need to make a nice in-room breakfast. Large and clean, a bit bare-boned (no "fancy" cosmetics, no coffee filters), but if you make a quick stop at a store it's really a nice alternative to eating at Denny's!

“Pretty good if you're on a budget.”

We were visiting USC and UCLA, and only stayed for one night. Good location because it was close to both, especially USC. Our room had two queen-sized beds, a nice TV, a stove, mini-fridge and microwave. When we were booking it, we read some reviews that said it was in a bad part of town, it's actually not too bad. Our family of four (parents and two daughters) felt safe walking to Jack in the Box around 9pm.

“Exceptional family stay”

During my stay I found the staff at the front desk--all of them--to be exceptionally courteous, friendly, and helpful. Not only did they remember who my family was as individuals when we walked in and out the front door, but they anticipated some of our needs based on what they knew of our circumstances. I have the highest praise for the staff.

“Pleasantly surprised!”

I'm used to staying in 5 star hotels. When I recently attended a cat show and had to find a hotel that would take pets I was expecting that the hotel would be dreadful. I was very pleasantly surprised. The room even had a little kitchen with a refrigerator. The hotel was quiet also so I slept great!

“It was good for the price and location.”

This place met the needs we had. The reservation was for an elderly person receiving treatment at a local hospital. The lobby staff was very friendly, patient, and helpful. The room was clean - a little dated - but met the special needs I had requested in advance. The person staying was more than satisfied and will most likely return. I live nearby so I would not stay here in the future.

“Just wasn't up to my standard”

Might be OK for some. But for a 15 night stay, it just got a little much to come back to the dreariness of this place. Everything worked, but if you need excellent internet access, I never had that. Note: Maid service only offered once a week. Maybe this is standard with this hotel, but its not mentioned in any of the hotel description or advertising.
