“Nice little place”
I really like this hotel as it's pretty quiet and rooms are cozy and clean. Since I'm there on business, a pool is not a loss for me. Good neighborhood within walking distance to food and shops. For the most part, staff are great. The person at the desk on Friday mornings (or at least the last two I was there) was less than friendly and both times seemed put out that I was either asking questions or questioning why I was getting charged for 6 nights of parking when I was only there 5. The lady manager on in the evenings is the exact opposite and always willing to help.
“Fantastic!”
The food: A good continental breakfast. We didn't get a chance to be there for the afternoon wine reception as it is on weekdays only. Parking: Under fifteen bucks a night. Decor: Very modern, wall of glass windows in the lobby to sit by during your breakfast. Room: Clean, has an iron, safe, minibar (very pricey), coffee maker. The bathrooms were well stocked. Staff: Very friendly!

“Better than Expected Bargain”
My friends and I were looking for an affordable hotel in LA in a convenient neighborhood. We couldn't ask for more in the Elan. We had a great experience and would come back anytime considering the lower rates compared to it's neighboring hotels.
“Great value hotel”
The Elan Hotel has a great location in West Hollywood and includes all the extras that a lot of other hotels charge for. Free wireless internet, free wine and cheese tastings nightly, and free breakfast also. The breakfast was actually a highlight and exceeded all expectations for a hotel complimentary breakfast! It isn't a 5 star hotel but I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
“Nice stay”
We stayed for 2 weeks while visiting family and enjoyed this hotel very much. The location is perfect and the breakfasts and evening wine were tasty and enjoyable as well. The staff could not have been more helpful.
“Excellent Hotel, Excellent Location, Excellent Service”
We had the pleasure of staying at The Elan recently. This hotel excelled on many levels. The rooms are well appointed and, while not too large, are very comfortable. Some of the rooms face the courtyard ensuring a restful sleep with no noise filtering in from Beverly Blvd. The front reception staff are exceptional and they do what it takes to make ones stay that much more enjoyable. The lobby is inviting, facilitates dialogue among guests and is neither over the top ornate nor too sparse; the perfect blend of an understated, very modern, hip and cool aesthetic. The wine and cheese at 5 pm is very much appreciated and adds to the experience. It illustrates that they not only value their guests but wish to enhance a guests enjoyment of the hotel and their stay. The breakfast spread is also terrific. We will (and already have) recommended this hotel to many of our colleagues and friends. The location is excellent, perhaps a 5 minute stroll to Melrose and about a 1 minute walk to Beverly Center. Great food is to be had at RFD on La Cienega around the block and great coffee and breakfast is a 5 minute drive away on Melrose at Urth Caffe. The neighbourhood behind the hotel is beautiful. The comfort level and guest treatment is well above average and the value is exceptional. Note: Pay careful attention to the street signs and only park on the side streets that allow parking after 6pm as some are reserved for residents only. Monday night is street cleaning which means tow away!
“Loved everything about our stay at Elan Hotel Modern”
Very professional, discreet and accomodating staff. Everything, including the paint,looked new,clean and up-to-date. The continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese were very nice. Close to many great places, but far enough away from them to feel like you were on vacation.

We had a great stay. The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. Great location. Would definitely go back.
