“Clean warm home away from home”
The accommodation was excellent: the manager waited for my coming although late past 12 midnight; I was greeted warmly and patiently; and the room was very clean and very well prepared like brand new, spotless, linens, no smell. Again on checking out manager came to my call although I had to leave early for business. I recommend this lodging much better than hotels. You get a feeling of a clean secured home.
“Great place for the price”
For a hotel in LA this place was a great value. It's just recently been renovated nice clean rooms with flat screen TVs and very affordable for LA. I think because it's so affordable kids party there on weekends (there's some clubs just down PCH from the hotel), but the rooms are pretty solid and there wasn't any noise. A few minutes drive from the beach and downtown
“Comfortable stay.”
My stay at this lodging was as expected. Room condition was clean with refridgerator, microwave and free wi-fi access. Lack of parking in the front, but enough parking space in the back. You can hear noise traffice from PCH, but did not really bother me. Location is close enough by the Aquarium which was our destination. Overall, very pleased.
“Spacious room”
Hotel was adequate. Nothing special, but no complaints. Room was very spacious.
“Adequate”
I just crashed here because I had some drinks for the Super Bowl and didn't want to drive home. The layout of the hotel is nice and the front office staff was very courteous. It wasn't the cleanest place but it wasn't disgustingly dirty. There was a refridgerator, freezer, and microwave and the room was pretty spacious. The tv was nice, though I didn't watch it at all. The parking lot is tiny and difficult to get in and out of. I forgot to set my alarm and slept right though the checkout time, but the office was very nice about us checking out late.
“I've been to better for the price”
Ok the room was nice, and big, new flatscreen tv, fridge, microwave, and new a/c! BUT I got grossed out when I saw someone else's hair on the sheets and on the pillows...made me really not want to sleep in it since I questioned whether the sheets had been changed or not...Also the parking was small and tight, though they had parking in the back, the steep hill down was not cool. I also could not sleep w/the NOISE of traffic outside, all night I heard cars driving by as the location faces the street...
“Keeping it simple”
If you want a hotel room to simply sleep and relax, this is it. What it lacks in amenities it makes up in savings. It had the essentials and was comfortable.
“Nice and Clean but Near Busy Street”
This is an older hotel but they've done some nice renovation work. The room we stayed in was very clean and quite comfortable. The only downside, which was a big one for us, is the road noise from the busy street right out front. The sound of large vehicles and speeding cars driving by during the night were very loud. The good thing about the location is that it's a short drive to the Long Beach airport and other local attractions.
“Long Beach EconoLodge”
Not a bad place to stay but the bed was pretty stiff. Overall cleanliness was okay and I never had to interact with the staff so it's hard to give them a rating. The entrance was pretty narrow for the Dodge Charger I had rented so it was hard to get into the parking lot but it was a good spot, near a couple of major supermarkets, banks, and In 'N Out Burger so I would stay there again.
“walls paperthin, breakfast left a lot to be desired”
walls paper thin, bed hard, breakfast left alot to be desired
