“BEST HOTEL IN LA AREA”
This was our first trip to the LA area, here for only a long weekend (4 nights) and we couldn't have found a better place to stay! The room was comfortable but the only complaint that I had was that the bathroom door really is basically a room divider that slides shut. I would hav much rather have my privacy with a solid door with trim that closes. But other than that, the area was perfect! We were not affected by traffic in any way. The freeway was close by (30 seconds from the hotel) and the restaurant within the same parking lot was great too (Claim Jumper). The staff was friendly and even gave us freshly made warm chocolate chip cookies when we checked in. I love this hotel and plan to return when we visit LA again. We highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed!!!!!
“One of the best DoubleTree hotels”
Overall it was a great experience. Room was very comfortable and the decor was modern. Fire alarm went off at around 10:00am in the morning but turned out to be a false alarm. But besides that all was good. Will definitely go back!
“wanted to stay longer”
I was completely impressed by this hotel. The staf was helpful, and friendly. There was a happy hour daily from 4-7pm, and lunce buffet on Wednesdays by the pool. The fitness center had weights, which is rarely seen. I would recommend this hotel in a flash. Best hotel experience in a long time.

Beautiful room and the grounds were great it was only a 1 night stay but I'd love to go back and stay longer. Best Hotel I've stay at in a long time and I've stayed ay alot of hotel this was for fun not business but if you are going there for business I would say great place to stay.
“Free cookies”
The hotel was just what I wanted - a mini-getaway in my own city. The location is great since it's driving distance from Old Town Pasadena, which has fun activities, and it's close enough to San Gabriel Valley which has great food. The hotel was clean and modern. The service was great (the cookies are delicious - we got 4). No complaints. The bed was comfortable, but the weather being as hot as it was, we had to leave the AC on, which meant intermittent noise throughout the night, as well as temperature that was at times too warm, then too cold. But that's just how it'll be when it's hot and you need to leave the AC on.
“A Great Stay!”
This was a very comfortable hotel right near where we were visiting. There was a great breakfast offered right downstairs - a little pricey because we evidently did not get a voucher, but very delicious. Despite the fact that the hotel is right by the freeway, our room was very quiet. I'd go back!
“Quiet and comfortable”
it locates in the central of Monrovia city and near by the city of Arcadia. I can walk to many stores...really like it...and good price as well.
“Great romantic getaway”
The room was beautiful, modern and comfortable. I didn't like the sliding bathroom door but everything else about the room was great. We were initially looking for a place with a pool but didn't end up going swimming because of the enormous group of children playing in the pool area at all times. We also LOVED the 12pm check out time. We would definitely stay there again!
“Love the place”
We really like the hotel the beds are very comfy, the spa is nice if the pool was heated it would be even better. There are many restuarants in the area and we walked to the one in the parking lot for dinner Claim Jumpers. Nice place.
“Great value in a suburbs”
Standard DoubleTree hotel in the LA suburbs. Great value for the romm with free parking, internet, and breakfast unlike many hotels closer to the city. Modern interors, pool, firepit area out back. Very convient access to the highway so having a car is recommended.
