Hotel staff was friendy and rooms were clean. Parking is pretty bad but the staff gladly gave up their parking spot for us!

The employee at the hotel was very nice and courteous. The place was not that hard to find and it was a nice place. The room was comfy and it was a good place to end the long day for a good price.

Everything was great except the shower...great if you're 4 feet tall. I had to duck big time to wash my hair! And we missed the complimentary breakfast, ended at 9, thought it ended at 10 like every other hotel i've ever been in.
“cheap, but effective”
there was nothing really wrong with this hotel..it's just very old and very outdated. It's definitely a "no frills" hotel, but i was looking for the cheapest hotel in the area, and it worked. For breakfast there is english muffins and waffles, the furniture is old, and the bedding has seen better days, but the stay was pleasant. If you are looking for a cheap way to stay in the Valencia area and just need a place to sleep, this hotel fits the bill
“Ok...for what we paid”
If you're looking for a bed, bath, and clean place to stay while you spend time at Six Flags or Castaic Lake this location is great. When we checked in the hotel lobby was clean and the service was quick and friendly. We went to the room and found we had a small microwave and fridge which is nice when traveling with children. The room was clean and everything seemed to work. Free internet access in both the lobby and room was also much appreciated. On the ground level we found the laundry facilities to be adequate with one washer and dryer in a small closet area. However, the next morning we noticed a few things that could use improvement. The water pressure and temperature was minimal and luke warm respectively no matter when you took a shower. Would have changed rooms but after talking to other guests I felt it would be pointless. Even though we booked the hotel for 2 adults and 2 children we only received 3 towels daily. I went to the front desk and had to ask for more each morning. The breakfast included pre-packaged danish, coffee, orange juice, a hot waffle iron to make your own waffles, and bread to make toast but no jelly. Cold cereals, milk, bagels or muffins would have been greatly appreciated. The pool doesn't open until 2 p.m. in the afternoon and closes at 11 p.m. Not a big deal unless you like an early morning swim. I booked well in advance and so I was able to get a really good rate, but doubt I would have been satisfied paying the hotel's standard room rate.
