I had a comfortable and safe stay here, best part is they have parking in city like LA for just $12 a night. Just provide body wash as well everything else was great.

The property was clean and well maintained. The parking, although an additional $12 a night, was secure and very easy to access. The location was perfect for visiting our family in Elysian Heights. The price was reasonable. That being said, the walls and windows were thin, the passing traffic and restaurant and it's patrons in the parking lot were loud, and the guests above us and in the hallway were stomping around all hours of the night. We would not have gotten any sleep if not for having a white noise machine on full blast. One queen mattress was uncomfortable, but the other was horrendous. Think, free curbside college dorm room Ikea futon. Luckily, our 6 year old was small enough to curl up in the chair. And the only way I can describe the pillows is akin to balling up socks and shoving them in a tiny feed sack. We used folded towels instead. I've never encountered the like in any stay, anywhere. Breakfast was identical the three mornings of our stay. Powdered eggs, sausage, waffles, bagles and cream cheese, coffee and tea, and some assorted cereals and oatmeal. Basic, but a step up from continental. Our son loved the waffles. We would stay here again for the price, parking and cleanliness. But, be warned, bring your own pillow and a sound machine!

We had a great stay. The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. My only complaint would be the pillows…. They are terrible and really need to be replaced.

I liked the roo, it was nice, clean, quiet, smoke free. I also liked the Breakfast, there was an array of choices to include: Breakfast Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Bagels, Fresh Fruit, Hot & Cold Cereal, Muffins, Yogurt, Coffee, Tea, Apple& Orange Juice. Very nicely prepared, great presentation. The staff is very pleasant, professional, helpful.

Terrific, Affordable Hotel.
This is a Terrif, affordable hotel in Silver Lake. There are a variety of restaurants and shops close by. Parking is a bonus in this busy area. While the cleaning, and cleanliness of the hallways, bathrooms, and the drapes are wonderful, the carpet is in need of replacement. Wear your slippers! Oh, the included breakfast is marvelous with bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit, and coffee. Eat in the breakfast area or use the tray from your room to transport your food up to the room

Lots of Pluses
Terrific stay for a family or solo stay. Nice enough breakfast in a location with tons of restaurants nearby. The parking is reasonable and such a bonus in this busy neighborhood. Lots of stores nearby. Freeways are close.

Very safe and the staff were very attentive and called us to ask if everything in the room was okay! Super clean and a great price. The parking lot was safe too! A pizza place was right next door!

Keep searching for a better hotel
Don’t stay if yo have to get up early breakfast is not ready until 6:30 and ends at 10:30….surrounding area sketchy parking is underground and there is a fee. You have to have your room key relkeyed every day so they will work I will never stay here again even for free!

A lot of it is as expected, a basic clean room to stay in a somewhat hipster area (I really liked all the nearby vegan dining!). But what is unexpected is the staff is outwardly friendly and helpful. From the small breakfast to the complimentary water & coffee in the lobby they do things right. They pay attention to the little things in the room and throughout that make the difference and the stay just that much better.

Affordable accommodations, not sure if the place was retro or just hadn't been updated and was well maintained. No AC in the hallways and you need to 'refresh' your room key each day which I have never seen in 30 years of traveling and really is inconvenient at midnight. But if you are looking for a clean place to sleep while running around the Hollywood area this place fits the bill!
