We stayed at this basic motel, which offered complimentary breakfast. Our two-day stay was peaceful, and many other families stayed there. Pros: - Affordable rates - Good breakfast selection - Convenient location near Glendale and Universal Studio Cons: - Limited parking; we had to park far from our room when we arrived late at night - The motel charged us a $100 deposit, and we have yet to receive a refund after three days.

Decent hotel to stay, staff is very good. Love the breakfast. Ample amount of parking in the hotel and have good dining options nearby the hotel. There is a shopping complex near to hotel too.

The bed was stellar, always a parking spot, the hot tub relaxing and the breakfast more than expected. Seriously, excellent well kept Comfort Inn. Would stay again.

This is a perfect hotel for a quick trip to California. We were on a college tour trip and this location was central to the schools we were checking out. The neighborhood of Eagle Rock had a lot to offer for meals and walkable streets. We’d stay here again.

The shower in the accessible room needs repair (floor to wall looked lousy and accummulates dirt which was very visible. Anyway, we requested for a room change which was given the following day.

Great breakfast, very clean, convenient to go directly to Universal Studios. We stayed from Fri 1/19 to Mon 1/22 and we enjoyed the free parking and hot tub and pool

Be Sure to Speak Up If Room Smells Bad...
Not sure why this place got such high stars. We were there for 4 nights, was 2 stars at best. Our original room, the last room on the second floor of the far right side of tge building, reeked of cigarette smoke. Second one smelled very musty. After 2 room moves, we finally found one, with the help and patience of the desk gal, that didn't smell like smoke or musty. Definitely not the same caliber of other Comfort Inn hotels we've been staying in, but the final room was satisfactory, even if we had to sleep in separate double beds and it was on the 1st floor. Later, tried the pool and hot tub: pool was not heated, and hot tub was maybe 102°, not as hot as other tubs but warm enough on the chilly night. AC wall unit was loud, water pressure in sink was low (shower was good, though actuator that you pull up to activate the shower leaked a lot). Forget about the breakfast room; waaaay too small to be truly functional unless you really, really need to save money and eat breakfast there. At one point, one evening, a guy with a broken down car was working on it in the parking lot. Finally, in the early morning when we left at 6am for our long drive home, a tow truck parked in the lot and no one was at the front desk; waited for 20 minutes but no one came back despite "Back in 10 minutes" sign.

Comfort Inn came to the rescue after a botched AirBNB stay. We arrived at our AirBNB on my birthday to find an eviction notice!! Apparently the AirBNB host hadn't paid her rent, but that didn't stop her from attempting to rent the place out to unsuspecting travelers. Luckily, Comfort Inn was able to accommodate our family of five without any prior notice. The room was ready for us immediately, and we awoke to a hot breakfast. Highly recommend!

The facility was transparent that the parking was not guarranteed, but we were pointing out to the staff that there was one car who took 2 spots and we were asking him to help us to locate the owner of the car but he refused to. He wasn’t friendly or helpful at all.

It's a ok Hotel to stay not a great like its boasted reviews. The break fast area is small and they had only 1 waffle maker and 1 bread toaster for more than 15 people. People has to wait long for the breakfast. I and my family has to stay more than 30 mins in the breakfast area. Rooms are ok and not great but the service was good. Definitely, its not worth the money that I paid. Parking was easy and shopping mall close by.
