We sincerely apologize for the distress and inconvenience you and your wife experienced at Universal Studios-Hollywood.We understand that waiting in uncomfortable conditions is far from the high standard of service we strive to provide, and it is regrettable that the response you received from our staff did not meet your expectations or our own standards of customer care.Our shuttle service is indeed complimentary and is a popular amenity among our guests. It operates on a strict schedule to accommodate as many guests as possible and to ensure timely arrivals at various destinations. On the day of your reservation, our driver attempted to adhere to the 4:30 PM pick-up time, and due to the tight schedule, which includes a required presence at a different location by 5 PM and the next pick-up at Universal at 5:30 PM, the shuttle had to depart. As per our safety protocol, once our driver begins the route, they are not permitted to use their phone while driving.We did our utmost to communicate the pick-up times and the importance of being on schedule. When we learned that you were not present at the designated time, we attempted to make accommodations by offering the next available shuttle. We understand that this was not the solution you were hoping for and that an hour's wait was not ideal.Again, we apologize for your experience and look forward to the opportunity to restore your confidence in our hotel.
