Not bad hotel

Pros: It seemed clean.
Cons: The neighborhood
Location: Bad neighborhood.
We didnt want to have to drive far from the airport. That part was good, but the neighborhood was NOT! The hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant, but the area was definitely scary. Do not take children here and be very aware of your surroundings

Served its purposePosted 20-Oct-2013
The staff was really nice and welcoming. If the staff was the only variable in my review it would be all great because they have nothing to do with the physical building or amenities provided. The option to park for free is great but the spaces are extremely narrow. I had a rental Dodge Avenger and had to squeeze out of the car. You can't double park or they will tow you so you just have to deal. The free wifi didn't work initially and then when I was able to get connected it brought up one webpage before it stopped again. I stopped trying after 30 minutes and the hotel clerk reset the modem. There are three things that determine my choice in hotel: value of cost based on the provided amenities (free continental breakfast, free wifi, option to self park, etc.,), location, and cleanliness (are there any registered bedbug complaints/reviews, general previous experience with hotel chain, etc.,). So while the place was clean and staff was nice I could have stayed at another location where the parking was reasonable to the average car and internet worked for the price I paid to stay here. If the Best Western are going to list services they should be responsible enough to ensure that they are actually working/available. If you can find another hotel with similar pricing try your luck there. I can't recommend this hotel and will not return.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staffPosted 14-Oct-2013
Pros: the free shuttle/breakfast. The friendly service even at 1 in the morning I went to the lobby the staff was very nice and helpful
Cons: They need to change the window to noise proof window, it's at a major intersection and the noise level is very HIGH, even to watch TV it's a pain.
Location: It's pretty close to major attractions like Hollywood Blvd, Beverly Hills. I liked it
The breakfast is tasty but more variety is needed.

Very Disappointed!Posted 4-Oct-2013
I expected this to be a hotel with the room doors inside a hallway. It was a motel with the room doors open to the outside. The room was old and very dilapidated. The door did not feel like it locked securely. The hotel is located next to the freeway exit and was VERY noisy all night long. I will not stay here again.

Convenient for overnight stay near airportPosted 27-Sep-2013
Pros: The room was large and comfortable. Wi-Fi was available.
We had to spend the night at LAX before flying to SFO for the last leg of our flight. This was convenient with shuttle pick-up in the evening at 10:30 pm from the airport and then shuttle drop-off at the airport the next morning at 5:00 am. The shuttle is free.

Great Price and a Central LocationPosted 25-Sep-2013
I was a little worried about staying in Inglewood... thought it might not be a good area. However, it was not bad at all! There are many places to eat, convenience stores and a freeway entrance nearby. It was a quick drive to a concert at the Staples Center, Hollywood and Santa Monica Pier. If you really want a nice LA area vacation, this is a great place to stay if you wish to spend your money wisely. If you have access to a car, it will save a ton just to stay a little farther out as opposed to staying at an over-priced motel in Hollywood. Because no matter where you stay, you are going to be driving around the area anyway! Plus, the staff was really nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable and the free breakfast in the morning was pretty good!

CLOSE TO AIRPORTPosted 9-Sep-2013
Pros: The staff!
Cons: It was very old and had an old, used smell to it.
Location: The staff hooked us up with a great tour of LA, Hollywood, Beverly hills, Venice Beach, and the Farm Market at the Grove. I highly recommend the tour
The hotel was very easy to get to from the airport. It wasn't a very good neighborhood, but the wonderful staff at the hotel made up for it's location, they were very helpful and kind. They went out of their way to please us.
