“Really nice hotel.”
Really nice hotel. Great location. Would definitely come back and recommend it. I wished it had been indicated that parking cost extra. I didn't give superb to staff because my husband left something in the breakfast room and they didn't offer to unlock it and help him find it. Otherwise they were great--good referrals on dining, etc.
“Best location”
The hotel was top notch and the location on Hermosa Beach truly made it a great place to stay. -- many restaurants and shops were within walking distance ... the beach and ocean views along the strand were great--- also a great area for bike riding, walks and people watching.
“Great Location, great facility”
Loved the location, the room, as well as the amenities!! The bed was comfortable, and the bedding luxurious. The living room was also cozy with a great little fireplace on those chilly nights. With the hotel's location, right on the beach, there was direct access to the beach boardwalk for the job, bike ride, etc. What was especially nice was the hotel offered beach towels and beach chairs at no extra charge. These days when you are charged for everything, it was a pleasant surprise. They even provided bottle water in your room. The staff was very pleasant and quite helpful, Although the standard rooms did not offer great view (the view was of a parking garage immediately behind the hotel), but the comfort of the room, as well as the close proximity (less than a block) to the pier and area restaurants made up for it. I would definitely go back anytime
“Hope to return!”
Great location as base for L.A. travels. The Strand is great for people watching, restaurants within walking distance, bikes available for rent next door...location-location-location. Most mornings while having breakfast you can eat breakfast while watching the beach volleyball players warm up. Be aware that parking is an additional cost albeit valet. If you have the funds, spring for the beach front rooms though no complaint with our ocean view room. Staff was very helpful in regard to local restaurants, L.A. tours, etc.
“A Must Stay”
This was the second time we stayed here because we loved it so much the first time. You CAN NOT beat the location. It's right on the boardwalk. The rooms are very nice, beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious with granite countertops, garden tubs, and a glass shower. It's worth the price to have a view of the ocean. Just sitting on the balcony is enough of a vacation. You WANT to be in your room! We spent a lot of time just hanging out in the room with the sliding glass doors open so we could enjoy the view of the ocean and people watch as well. Hermosa Beach is a great beach community. There's lots to do. One of our favorite things is being able to walk everywhere or ride the bikes that we rented. I can't think of one negative thing. We will definitely stay here again and again. I love Hermosa Beach and the Beach House Hotel!
“Good place to stay on teh beach”
The rooms are very large. We payed the low price and stayed away from the each, but that was fine for us.
