“Great stay!”
The staff is extra friendly and responsive to requests like more towels or moving cars in the parking lot. The neighborhood isn't glamorous, but it's right across the street from the 99 cent store where you can easily get food or items that you may have forgotten. It's also extremely close to Zankou's Chicken and the 24 hour fitness at the Arc Light theatre!
“Clean, Simple, Gets the Job Done”
If you are looking for a place to crash, this place is clean, cheap and gets the job done. Nothing fancy of course, but if you simply need a motel room, this place is clean and reliable.

“Nice”
Just remodeled rooms. Nice if you are NOT looking for extravagent and just want a nice, clean, decent, room and bed to sleep in. Close to attractions on Hollywood Blvd.
“Exceeded Expectations”
My husband went to LA and stayed in this hotel on Sunset Blvd...the hotel is a great one to stay in as its in the middle (driving distance) to the action on Sunset Blvd and also Dodgers Stadium as well as great acess to the highways. Rooms were very clean and not too bad in size. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Cab ride down to the Hollywood Blvd and night life on Sunset was about $10.00. Great place to stay if your not wanting to spend a lot of money. Free Parking is a huge bonus!
“Would definitely go back”
This is not a hotel for someone who loves ammenities. Breakfast is coffee and packaged danish. But the rooms are clean and in good order. Rate was very reasonable. Parking is limited but never had a problem getting a space. Parking lot has security cameras and the area is reasonably quiet. Good for someone visiting who won't stay in the room alot.
“only real problem was parking”
I stayed at the Best Value Inn for a week and was satisfied overall. The double room was clean but small and if you don't really care about hanging out there, the room size isn't a problem. If you want a hotel that is within walking distance to the Sunset Strip, do not stay here unless you want to do a lot of walking or take expensive cab rides. With that said, BVI was a good central location in relation to all the things we wanted to do on our vacation (Santa Monica, Venice, Melrose, Redondo Beach...) . Just make sure you don't get in too late - parking is almost impossible to find after midnight. If there are no spots left, you have to double park and give your keys to the front desk, which was never really a problem. Now that you've heard the pros and cons, good luck and have fun in La La Land!

The room and the service was great. Good location, clean room, good service and the price wasnt bad too. What would you want more. ;-)

The hotel is simple, but good service and very clean. The employees were very helpfull. They gave us a good orientation about address and places to go in LA.
