“would stay thier again”
peopel at the hotel were very friendly only thing that i didn;t like was TV was to small for the room but internet work great .room was clean.

Nice, quaint, clean, bed was very firm, good for me not for everyone. great location.
“Stopover in Sag Harbor”
Thought the hotel was fine. The hotel is a bit dated, and showing some wear and tear, but the service by all at the front desk was the best I've ever experienced at a hotel - prompt and exact. Bed was quite comfortable, although winter may not be the best time to stay at the hotel.

The staff were very friendly, for a reasonably priced stay well worth it.
“Easy and Fun!”
Stayed overnight for a quick get away, The value was excellent and the location is perfect for walking around Sag Harbor. Breakfast and great coffee in the morning helped tremendously. The desk staff was truly amazing and helpful for anything you wished! The hotel is a bit older but the rooms and bathrooms were clean and the view was awesome. Thanks Baron Cove we had fun!
“CONVENIENT LOCATION BUT "SHOWING ITS AGE" BIG TIME”
Copnvenient to Sag Harbor center and "side trips." Staff pleasant. Exterior, rear where most guests enter much in need of painting and renovation. Satisfied on balance. Rate reasonable. Not much "competition" in Sag Harbor proper. Fine view of harbor.
“NEVER AGAIN”
Despite the herculean efforts of the very pleasant staff, the hotel and the grounds are terrible. The hotel should be closed till massive renovations are done.
“Barren's Cove Inn?”
The place was an odd combination of mostly tired, at least, but in some small ways very well maintained. The rooms were clean, and looked to have been fairly recently painted, but the bathtub was cracked on the bottom, and the shower enclosure leaked onto the floor, which was in some spots 'spongy'. The bed was firm-to-hard, but not uncomfortable. The pillows were somewhat oddly shaped.(?) I liked the quilts, which looked almost hand-sewn. The tennis court (the sign says "pool" and "tennis") had debris all over it, although that was cleaned up before we left, making it still completely unusable. The pool was fine, but unheated. Really?! The grass wasn't mowed. The driveways and parking lots clearly needed to be repaired and cleaned up. The people working there were perfectly helpful and pleasant.
“Terrible”
This place was a travesty. The bathroom had hair clumps all over it. The ceiling tiles were all out of place and it stunk of mildew. You Couldn't pay me to stay there again.
