“never again”

blinds on window had panes missing, upon first entering room the stale smell of cleaning chemicals mixed with wet carpet odor almost knocked me over like the room hadn't been used or windows opened in months. there were silverfish in tub and on bath floor. plumbing in tub leaked. the running water smelled strongly of bleach, couldn't brush teeth or open eyes in shower. located in a seedy part of town I know i used to live in riverhead many years ago.
