“Really impressed in everyway, best I have been in in a long time”

Although this hotel is in Bethnal Green, it was very near the tube, and the quality outweighed the location. Would love to go again, but probably next time this wil be out of our price range.

“Unbelievable gem hotel”

After getting out of the Bethnal Green tube station I was not quite impressed with the surrounding neighborhood and was afraid the hotel would be similarly unimpressive. My fears subsided after entering the hotel lobby that looks very chic and artsy. The staff was very courteous and accommodating as well. I had the surprise of my life after getting into my room. The room was actually an apartment where every square inch of space was used so efficiently that it included amenities I have never found in any US hotel, such as washer and dryer (including detergent supplies). This room was luxury in all regards: from the nice furniture, bathroom L'Occitane toiletries (including a nail file!), espresso machine in the kitchen with plenty of coffee pods supplies, free milk and water in the refrigerator, daily chocolate truffles, to electric plugs fit for devices from Europe and the US (besides free WiFi), bath robes, umbrella, and a cloth for shoe cleaning. I have stayed in many "luxury" hotels in big cities in the US but none of them comes even close to this one. Not to mention the price that I got on Expedia! Cleanliness and quietness also made this hotel a little oasis of pampering luxury fit for business and pleasure trips alike.

“Great Place to stay for Central London”

The hotel is only just outside of the city, 3 stops to St Paul, on the Central Line. The hotel looks recently opened, and is an excellent place for a business or leisure stay, the rooms are well designed and furnished, and there is ample space with a living area separate from the bedroom. The kitchenette is adequate for small meals, and the fridge was easily filled from the local Supermarkets. The hotel bar would do justice to a 5 star hotel, and the indoor swimming pool is fine for an early morning swim. Great hotel, good value for money, just outside of the City of London, and close to Public Transport, easy to recommend!!

Town Hall must be one of the best hotel apartments I've stayed in. Everything was squeaky clean, staff were super helpful, location was near the tube (it's not in Central London but near the Central line and very convenient...plus it's easy to get taxis back and forth if you prefer), gym was great, pool was great....great, great accommodation - would highly recommend.

I stayed for seven nights on a business trip. The hotel is very comfortable and service excellent. The in-house hotel restaurant is great, if a little pricey. Service charges at 12.5% are automatically included. The interior of the hotel is a little austere, being a former government building, and can feel somewhat cold and bureaucratic. The rooms are very very nice, however - touches like a DVD player, espresso machine, free bottled water and a wonderful bed more than make up for the fact that the hotel is not in the fashionable parts of London. It is within very comfortable distance of the City, however, though one should try to avoid the Central Line in morning rush hour at all costs. The staff forgot to do my turndown one night and the bathroom smelt off (because of smells coming from the plumbing system / drains) at times. I would recommend that the hotel install automatic in-room deodorisers. Also avoid booking a taxi through the concierge - you can book airport transfers far more reasonably online. The hotel is a very worthwhile pick at the right price.
