“A gem of a hotel!!”
This hotel is a gem. The whole hotel staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. It is modern and very clean. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. It has a great breakfast buffett and dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good with reasonable prices. There is a bus stop right outside the front doors, and the 48 bus will take you to the Liverpool Street Station to get the underground or a train. If we go back to London we would not hestitate to stay at this hotel again.
“Great Hotel”
Finding a hotel in London that isn't ridiculously expensive is pretty tough. The RE Shoreditch isn't cheap, but it's not ridiculous either. And you get a great hotel for the relatively inexpensive price. The air conditioning in the room is FANTASTIC. You can set it yourself, and it's been my experience with other hotels that they aren't that cold, so I set this one to it's coldest. Even I, who loves a cold room, had to raise the temperature after 30 minutes. Huge plus there. The hotel has free internet, which is also a big plus, but the only draw back there is it doesn't stretch beyond the 2nd floor. Thankfully that's the floor we were on, but any higher and we wouldn't have been able to. The room was spacious, especially by European standards, and the bathroom was nice. The beds were also very comfortable. The hotel is only a short 3 minute walk from a national rail stop. You could take the tube, but I wouldn't recommend it due to distance...the train that runs from Liverpool Street Station gets there in less then 5 minutes. Overall, my wife & I loved this hotel. We usually book low cost places because the hotel, for us, is just a place to crash at night. So it was nice to find a low cost place that was also a great place to stay. Overall verdict: Highly Recommended.
“Excellant hotel and Reasonable”
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who requires a modern clean hotel room. What I gave up in location was made up in the reasonable price and excellant environment. The hotel has good size rooms with an excellant bathroom. We felt very comfortable at the hotel. The pub and restaurant are good. The breakfast was excellant. The staff was very professional and helpful We will stay at the hotel next year.

“Good hotel, great breakfast!”
The hotel was clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful and there were convenience stores nearby that stayed open late. The area is a bit sketchy, but the highly efficient Tube is only a 10-minute walk away. The English Breakfast, which was included in our stay, was amazing!

Easy to locate from Heathrow. Easy link by bus/underground to various sites in London. Initially apprehensive as I have never heard of this hotel before. First impression was good. Front desk officers wrer simply wonderful and warm. The hotel cleanliness and quiet atmosphere is extremely welcoming. The rooms were quite clean although a little more space would have increased its comfort. But definitly, the Hotel is whort every dollar spent on it during my stay. Surely I plan to return to this hotel on my next visit to London.
“Very recommendable”
We found our experience at the hotel very pleasing. We enjoyed the room; the staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was excellent. As a whole we were very satisfied and would go back again at our next visit to Shoreditch.
“Ideal for access to Bart's Hospital”
This is the second time we used the hotel for my wife's early attendance at Bart's Hospital the following day. It was especially convenient to have the in-house restaurant both for an evening meal and for early breakfast the next day as my wife could not eat or drink after 7.30am to the time of her afternoon operation. The whole set-up enabled her to be quite relaxed before arrival at hospital. We have told Bart's people how satisfied we are with this hotel so that other patients can be given the details.
