“Great value”

Although, the Paddington is an older hotel, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and considerate to the guests. Great location, one block from Lancaster Gate (central line) and a short distance from Paddington station. I would consider returning to this hotel, each time I return to London. The price of this hotel could not be beat when I booked a room for 8 nights. Does anyone really want to spend too much time in a hotel, while vacationing in London? Great hotel, just to sleep, shower, and grab a light breakfast.

“Great location, nice accomodations”

I am the sort of traveller who spends my time exploring my travel destination and I am almost never in my hotel room. My basic requirements for a hotel room are a comfortable bed and a decent shower. Additionally, I look for a hotel that is located either in walking distance to attractions or near public transportation. Providing breakfast is a "plus" as well. The Paddington had all of these qualities and I would definitely stay there again.

“Good service and great location”

Check in was excellent - checked me in although i arrived early morning. Breakfast was OK. Room was clean and not small. Great location - a walking distance from Hyde Park, Paddington and Lancaster Gate metro stations.

“Great Value”

This hotel is so centrally located you can forget the tube. You can walk across Hyde Park, 5 minutes to Paddington for the Heathrow Expres (only about a minute from a tube station) and less than a 10 minute walk to Tottenham Court Road. I was really impressed with the help of all the staff (bearing in mind it is a 2 star hotel and I was expecting very little). They were so helpful and it didn't feel as if they were staffing as two star hotel. Don't choose this hotel if you can't cart you own luggage up a few steps as you do not get concierge service. Room was great. It's small - as with everything in Europe but it had eveything you wanted. It was cleaned daily and realy well.

We had a fantastic stay at the paddington hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the breakfasts plentiful, the service helpful and the staff friendly. The location was also great with plenty of eat spots close by and close to buses and trains. We had a very enjoyable stay and would stay again if in London.

“Pleasant visit”

The hotel is in a convenient location to a tube station as well as Paddington Station. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The only time we went across the street to eat breakfast the door was locked and no one to let us in!! I would stay there again.

Near Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate Tube - Rooms Small but clean. Good place to stay if you want something cheap and in an easy location to get to.
