I very much enjoyed my stay at the Omega. It's location is extremely convenient, a five minute walk to Paddington station and a ten minute walk in the opposite direction to Kensington Gardens. Around the corner are handy shops, pubs and restaurants. The staff were pleasant enough and helpful, the breakfast was filling (fruit, yoghurt, boiled egg, cereals, various breads/toast cheese/meats tea/coffee). One thing to watch out if you're not able bodied or have trouble with stairs there is no lift/elevator, I'm not sure there are enough staff to help with luggage either. I was upgraded to a double room, which I was grateful for, but it was still smaller than expected. I'm 5'10 and the bed and shower felt small, if you're of bigger stature you may struggle. My room was clean and more than serviceable, towels and sheets were changed daily, the wifi was strong and worked well. My room faced the street and was quite noisy so I was glad to have earplugs with me. I always bring earplugs to any new place I stay, because you just never know. Overall I would highly recommend this no-frills hotel for a night or two. You're not going to get pampered, but you'll get a clean room, hot shower, comfortable bed and hearty breakfast. I'll definitely be coming back. I used to stay at the trendy Pilgrim around the corner, but I got pretty much the same experience at the Omega for half the price. 1) Bring earplugs 2) Be prepared to carry luggage upstairs. Hope this review helps!

It was clean, small but just big enough for one person. One huge inconvenience- no lift and if your room is on the 4th floor like mine was it’s a hell of a climb. The staff on duty offered help to carry suitcases though. I walked so much in London that after I want able to go down and back up again for tea or coffee which is on the ground floor. Maybe top floor rooms should have these in the room. Good

No air conditioning!
There is no air conditioning so even with a simple 20 degrees celsius the room was too warm. The windows are very thin so noise of the night made it very hard to sleep. Staff very friendly and free breakfast was more than welcome

While London's weather is generally mild, we understand that there can be exceptions, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Each room is equipped with powerful fans to help alleviate the heat, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter.Regarding the issue of street noise at night, we understand that our sash windows, which are a part of our historical building, may not provide the same level of sound insulation as modern windows. We are restricted by English heritage and listed building regulations in this regard. However, we have found that street noise typically subsides as the night progresses, allowing for a more peaceful atmosphere.Once again, thank you for your feedback. We had to rebook at the last minute and loved our week at the Omega. The bathroom is very small, but the beds are great, it's quiet, the staff are friendly, breakfast is plentiful and the location is extremely convenient. Thanks for a great stay!

The price was great for London. It was super close to the rail. Additionally, it was right next to the Hop on Hop off bus line. Just know this: the room is very small. The bathroom made me feel like I was in a camper/ RV. But, if you want high quality accommodations in London, you would spend much more. Next time I will probably splurge.

The hotel is clean, the room was fine, maybe the toilette feels a bit claustrophobic but it's functional. The hotel doesn't an elevator. Not an issue for me, but ask for a room at the lower floors if that is an issue for you. Breakfast was also all right, not the best but also not bad. Overall a pleasant stay.

Hotels in good location and is clean and well kept. Good bed. However, for the price there are no extras such as tea and coffee in rooms, limited TV service, poor toiletries, etc. the room was very basic. No lift - not good if you have baggage.

I know as an American my expectations for hotels are different, but my stay here was unacceptable. Part of it was my fault, I should have checked if they had AC, but being given two towels when two people are staying in the room is not okay. No other linens were given either, thankfully we had sponges for washing. The check in process was long and we were given a room already occupied and had to wait until they sorted it out. If you just want a bed and a tiny shower/toilet this will be the place for you, but if you’re looking for amenities and services, keep looking.

Great boutique hotel.
This is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed. Despite its small size, the service rendered by the owner (Simon) is beyond our expectations. He helped us to carry our 2 big luggage to our room during check-in. He is always helpful with info and helps when we requested. He is a cheery guy too despite the tough 2 yrs. Rooms were cleaned, well maintained and comfortable bed. I slept so much during this hotel due to the comfortable rooms. Highly recommended.

I stayed in the hotel for 1 night with my family, we found everything fine. We got the 2nd room upgraded from single bed to double bed. Simon was very friendly and helpful. Free coffe, tea and water at the reception. Parking available in front of the hotel after booking: 30£/24 hours (we got 1-2 hours extra aswel). Beeakfast is average but worth it.

Lovely stay at The Omega
Stayed at the Omega on a Saturday night. My wife and I had a very nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Convenient location very close to Paddington Station. The area around it is busy so there is a little noise but nothing too terrible. We were very pleased with the included breakfast which provided a nice variety of edibles. Service was excellent from check in to check out. Would definitely stay again.

Review this property * Small room was just doable. Annoying that the toilet paper was not topped up before the last day and that our rooms had already been unsolicited before the cleaning time. Our things were open and blood. Nothing else happened but annoying. Small space to eat

great, but please expand breakfast hours
It was good and clean and the room was nice. However, the hours for the breakfast are very short and it felt extremely early to close breakfast at 9am, especially on the weekend.

Perfect place for the City Explorer
Hyde Park is only a short walk away, plenty of food places to visit. Two tube stations not too far apart from each other. The Omega is a perfect place to stay in Paddington. I’m not one for staying in places by myself but the room was comfortable and perfect for me. The WiFi was a godsend but I can’t comment on the breakfast - but would have been perfect if I needed it. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t second guess going back. If there was a downside, the road is very busy so traffic takes a little getting used to, but you do have to remember you are in a city and a great location. A compromise worth taking for me :)

We he room was okay except we had requested 2 twin beds but we were given a different room on the first floor that was a double. We appreciated the gesture but would have preferred our original request. We only received bath towels and no wash cloths or hand towels. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful.

Location was great. Staff were also great, particularly the young lady managing the breakfast kitchen. Room was clean and well maintained every day.On the down side was the lack of air conditioning, a very small bathroom (barely able to turn around in the shower), no elevator and a queen bed would have fit in nicely. Good layout of mirrors and electrical outlets although I did miss having light controls on both sides of the bed versus just the one side.

Close to Paddington station, restaurants, tourist attractions Very clean , comfortable and recently modernised Great breakfast and very helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble
