“Great Value”

Very nice hotel for the money. Don't expect a 5* resort but the price it's hard to beat his hotel. Bus stop right in front of the hotel - bus will take you to the subway system in about 5 minutes. Good food and friendly bar staff. Extremely clean. Would definately recommend & return.

“GREAT”

This was the best hotel of our trip through Europe. If you're traveling to see the sites of London this is a little far out, but not that difficult with the underground. The room was "American size" very clean. The airport was nearby, but I'm not a super light sleeper so it wasn't an issue at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Loved this hotel!

“For what it was fantastic.”

For the price, in the London area you couldn't ask for more. The service was excellent, and the room had Sky Sports, a totally nice surprise. Was a good place to stay. Highly recommended. The food, though pricey, was excellent.

“Great price, good motor hotel near airport.”

With hotel prices in London sky high, a value traveler like me seeks older properties with clean everything, a restaurant, bar, and a good location. The Master Robert is 15 minutes from Heathrow or 20-30 euro by taxi and the Osterley Tube station is 0.9 miles by bus. From Osterley you are on the Piccadilly Blue Line to the center of London in 30 minutes. The hotel is great for families and travelers with cars. You can park your car at the Osterley Tube parking lot. The front end of the hotel has a comfortable and pleasant lobby, bar, and a good restaurant. I like the older and more traditional wood paneled rooms. This is not the "lap of luxury" but it is good for both the business and vacation traveler. It was the best value I found near Heathrow in September 2011.

“Cant wait to go back”

Great place, in ok location. If you dont want something too expensive (not central london or heathrow) then this is the place. Easy distance from airport (20 minutes) and close to central london (1hr by tube)

“superbe hôtel”

La chambre est propre, grande avec salle de bain et articles de toilette. Restauration pratique et pas trop cher pour Londres à côté de la réception de l'hôtel. A 10 minutes à pied du métro. Vraiment pas cher.

“Excellent hotel and adjoining pub”

Except when low flying aircraft go overhead this is a very good hotel. rooms are above average size, very clean and staff are very good. Adjoining pub is cheap and clientelle friendly.

“Not a bad choice”

Not a bad choice, especially for an early flight from Heathrow. The rooms aren't fancy, but mine was larger than most rooms in central London, was clean, and quite adequate. There is a bus right in front of the hotel that can take you to either the Osterley (for going into London) or West Heathrow (for coming/going to airport) tube stops. You can walk to either station in 15 to 20 minutes. From Osterley, it is only 30-35 minutes to the West End, less to destinations south of Hyde Park. The staff was friendly and helpful. It would be nicer if the rooms had safes, but the locks on the doors were very secure. The big question about this hotel is noise from airplanes. I stayed three nights and found the noise not bad at all. Once in a while a plane went directly over, but generally the planes were not overhead and the noise, if any, was in the distance. It didn't bother me much at all. Overnight, the area is very quiet and the main streets seemed quite safe at all hours. Obviously, it is more fun and convenient to stay right in London, but the Master Roberts isn't a bad choice to save some money and not be too far away from the action. And if you have an early flight from Heathrow, it is very convenient on your get away day.

“Noisy aircraft”

Good hotel. Unfortunately on the Heathrow flight path - noise from 5.30 am till 11.30 pm. Had difficulty sleeping. Otherwise good value for money.

“Best Western Master Robert Hotel, Hounslow”

Whilst our room was clean and we applaud the use of energy saving light bulbs some lampshades covering the bare bulbs would have been appreciated! Control knob missing to actually turn on the storage heater but slim fingers managed to overcome this problem.
