“Fantastic”
I had already stayed at this hotel during previous visits (and most probably will on future trips). The location is great, just round the corner from Bayswater Underground Station (District & Circle Line) and Queensway (Central) so transport is really not an issue. In my package I had breakfast which is continental buffet. There is quite a choice, including fresh friut. One can also have full english at an extra. I also availed myself of teh hotel's restaurant on one occasion. The food was genuinely good with sizable portions. This said however, on the main road behind the hotel (ie: Queensway) there is a wide variety of restaurants and pubs serving oriental, arab and italian cuisine. I highly recommend Beity (Lebanese). The only lacking thing I found was that the hotel advertises that they have WiFi all through hotel whereas this was only available in the lobby and at the bar. Thinking maybe it was just my room I checked with other patrons who reported the same experience. Since I was there on vacation and only needed internet access in the mrning and evening this was not an issue. I highly recommend this hotel without reservations.
“great small hotel and great location”
Hyde Park Towers is so convenient for central Londo, in a quiet street just around the corner from the underground station. Staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable and quiet. Nice choice of breakfast if you want, but many restaurants close by. Also next to Hyde Park? Kensington Gardens, lots of green space. Very reasonable rates and we would stay there again.
“Good, inexpensive place to say, with easy access to tube at Bayswater Station”
I booked this hotel through Expedia.com and was very pleased with the service. The staff is...just incredibly, faultlessly nice. My room was very small, but I think that had to do with the super-cheap price I paid through Expedia. Even though the space was small, it was a very comfortable place to be, as it came with an extra heater...and the shower seemed to be able to produce continuous hot water for hours at a time! My only gripe was concerning the internet connection in the lobby, which didn't always work. But who stays at a hotel for their computer terminal, anyway? This place is a great value. I'll definitely stay here again.
“Great stay at a budget price”
Very close to everything, food, siteseeing, souveniors, markets. Two subway lines stations within a quick 5 minute walk. lots of eateries (American and multicutural) Bus stops right outside the front door and on Bayswater road. Hyde Park and Kennsington Gardens within easy walking distance. Front Desk always staffed by freindly people. Special discounts gotten from the hotel for many things from theatre tickets to tour bus travel to dining. The buffet breakfast that was included in our package was filling and way more than would have been expected from the tipical American hotel provided breakfast. I would certainly stay here again.
“Great Location and Staff”
Great location and the staff was really helpful. I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were pretty small and it smelled a little damp in the basement, but the location was wonderful and the price was amazing. If I go again I will book the same hotel. Great hotel for penny pinchers.
“Not a bad stay, comfortable”
The hotel is about 200m from the Bayswater tube stop-a plus. The room was very clean and had adaquate storage space for bags and clothes. The only negative was that the central stairwells were not marked well for exit to the reception area. The staff was a bit more friendlier than most hotels - a pleasant plus. Was able to check in early also a plus. Would stay there again.

It was close to transport, restaurants, a perfect location. We enjoyed there breakfasts and happy hour of a night was a good idea.

“It was fine.”
I needed a hotel for a night layover in London. It was easy to get to and easy to get anywhere else in London, including Heathrow the next morning. The staff was very polite and helpful. I loved the layout of the floor with the many fire doors. Not only was that cute, but I felt very safe. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Not luxurious, but I was not looking for that, and the price was excellent!
