“Best location”
This was an unexpected surprise. The rooms are huge and very well appointed. The bathrooms are heavenly. Close to underground and Notting Hill. I loved the Park like garden across the street, would enjoy spending more time in this part of the city. Staff could not have been any more helpful.
“Met Expectations”
We only live down the road in Notting Hill so stayed there to get away from the NH Carnival. As an escape its great, putting aside the normal gripes about every hotel, I would definitely recommend it.
“Beautiful modern hotel!”
We LOVED this hotel. We stayed in two different rooms, as we went out of town during our stay. Both rooms were great - very clean, excellent quality linens, beautiful decor, good natural light. The lobby was beautiful and soothing. The halls were beautifully designed and maintained. Service at the desk, and from cleaning staff was superlative. I thought the quality of the in-hotel downstairs bar food was not very good. But overall, we were extremely happy there. We would definitely go back. Because they have free, building-wide internet, unless you have your laptop, there's no computer to use in the hotel. They will print stuff out for you if you need. But i didn't have my laptop with me, so that was disappointing. Still, i got some time to rest from email!!
“aestheticly pleasing to the eye”
This was my fifth time to stay at the Hempel and I have stayed in many beautiful London hotels. This one is very cool and atmospheric. I will stay again and hope that I get an upgrade to one of their special rooms for being such a good customer!

The contrast to the extreme black and white beauty is experienced in your every interaction with the available, warm and truly professional staff; eager and ready to create an unforgettable, informed, and comfortable stay in this exquisite environment. Close to Hyde Park, the suite we enjoyed met our every desire and more.
“Hempel Hotel, au coeur de Notting Hill”
hotel de tres grande qualité et tres bien situé, à proximité de la central line (Marble Arch, Oxford, etc.). a quelques minutes à pied de Hide Park. beaucoup de restaurants dans le quartier de l'hotel
“Un hôtel original ...”
Un hôtel vraiment original par sa déco minimaliste conçu par d'excellent designer. Un service excellent, un petit déjeuner agréable. Je vous conseille de le tester, mes amis Anglais l'ont décrit comme l'un des plus beaux de Londres ! et je n'ai pas été déçu.
“Unique hotel”
Chic, modern hotel. Ate at the hotel restaurant (No. 53, I think is the name) twice as food was absolutely delicious (beautifully presented as well). Staff very helpful and friendly. Convenient location just few blocks from Hyde Park. Would definitely stay there again.

“COULD BE BETTER AND IT USE TO BE”
I have stayed at this hotel many many times, I actually liked this hotel so much I got married there, it was fantastic. When the original designer/owner had it the attention to details was great, fresh flowers in the entrance, fab restuarant, little touches made it special. Now its been sold, gone are the fresh flowers and nice touches and it has a flat feel, I am so sad. Its a cool hotel to stay in if you havent been there before and some rooms are so cool like the suspended bed from the ceiling, it has disappointed me as no one at check in spoke clear english and no one knew where I could park and the check in staff where a little unprofessional to say the least.
