“nice cheap conveinent hotel”

Grsham is one of the tens B&B on the block, all looks similar from outside, very clean quiet neighbourhood. Gresham is clean, reception desk is helpful. walking distance to the subway, there are grocery store, Mac Donanad, KFC, steak house nearby. room is small, but is good enough for bugdet travel.

“Quite Nice and Good Location”

This is not a superbly great hotel, but it is nice enough and although our room was quite small for three people, the beds were comfortable still. The staff were helpful and polite as well. For the price, I really cannot fault this place and would definitely recommend it! Also, it is close to Paddington, which was one of my main criteria when selecting a hotel and I haven't regretted that choice as the distance is easily walkable and the train station offers a really good connection into the City. All in all, a good place to sleep!

“Not impressed”

I heard London is very expensive town, and it is understandable because the Queen lives here. Food, hotel is very expensive, but the transportation is superve, and the streets are clean and no baggers in the every street corners like some cities or towns which is not enjoyable to see people are in dyer needs for the basics, and makes you feel bad that you are on holiday. The Grsham offered a good amenities, but they need to upgrade facilities. They need decent mattresses to sleep tired travlers for the good nights rest. They need a little more professional approach instead of the "mom & Pop" opearation. it needs sound proof ceilings so you don't hear every little activities goingon upstairs. I would not stay there again at the price they are charging for what they had to offer. it was okay that they upgraded me, but still it wasn't worth for the esrly booking price. it was more like a last minute booking value.

“Average, clean hotel in one of the best central London locations”

As a female solo traveler on a budget, safety, convenience, cleanliness and affordability were uppermost on my mind. And I have to say the hotel did not disappoint. It is a 2-3 min walk from Paddington station which is very well connected via tube and national rail. You can also walk to a lot of places in less than 15-20 minutes. After having read the reviews on this website, I had mixed expectations but was pleasantly surprised when I went up to my 3rd floor room. The woman at the desk was friendly and happily agreed to let me take a look at the room before I checked in for my 8 night stay. The room was very small indeed but was also very clean. In addition to most basic amenities, they had free wi-fi and an in-room safe which was very convenient. Breakfast was available for a charge, but I did not eat there. There are a lot of eating places around. I stayed there over New Year's and it was very cold. I was glad that the heater worked very well and I had to turn the heat down. My room faced the street and yes there was noise from the street but I was in Central London! They have way too many people who sit at the reception desk and some of them were not particularly warm and friendly. I did not have any unpleasant experience with anyone; it is just nicer to see welcoming faces. Overall, it is a clean, affordable hotel in a safe, central location. If you are looking for any sort of luxury, it is clearly not the place for you. I would certainly stay there again.

“Well located but rooms very basic”

Downstairs areas nice but the rest of hotel is a 'rabbit warren'. Rooms are very small and carpets etc. worn out. Service very friendly.

“Great place for light travellers”

This Hotel is perfect for travellers who travel light and are not picky. It's close to the train station and walking distance to some of the tourist spot. Receptionist and owner very accomodating. Would recommend it to anyone who doesn't care for the size of the room.
