“TOP”
Hotel très bien situé sur Bedford Place qui est une belle petite rue au calme, proche de Russel square. A proximité toute proches des stations de tube '' holborn '' et '' russel square''. L'hotel est bien entretenu, calme, les chambres sont belles et la literie est TOP lol, la salle de bain dans la chambres est chouette. Il y a 1 coffre fort a disposition aussi. Franchement c'est 1 bel hotel qui mérite bien ses 4 étoiles
“Great Room in a Great Location!!!”
My wife and I went to London for a "Baby-Moon" in late December. The Clarendon was selected based on Expedia picks and reviews. The hotel is in a great location, right next to the British Musuem and a short walk to Russell Square tube station, on the Piccadilly Line. This is the best line for service to Knightsbidge (Harrods!) and Green Park (Across from Buckingham Palace). The room was very large, with a king size bed and a pull-out sofa. Bathroom was marble and in great shape. The staff was friendly and I was very impressed!
“Delightful, quiet boutique hotel”
The Clarendon is part of the Bloomsbury collection of boutique hotels offered by the Grange Hotel group. It is located less than a block from Russell Square, two short blocks from the British Museum, and has excellent access to bus and tube transportation. It is quiet and comfortable and fits well into the literary history of the neighborhood.
“Hôtel Clarendon à Londres : central et confortable”
Hôtel vraiment bien situé (derrière le British Museum) et confortable. Chambres petites, mais excellente literie et salle de bain impeccable. Seul défaut : le breakfast (non compris) est hors de prix (18 livres le continental et 24 l'english !). Un conseil : profiter de la bouilloire gentiment mise à disposition dans la chambre (avec sachets de thé, nescafé, sucre, dosettes de lait) et aller le prendre dans un pub à l'extérieur. NB. Attention ! ne pas confondre Bedford Place avec Bedford square ou Bedford avenue, qui sont assez loin. Bedford Place n'est d'ailleurs pas une place mais une rue, entre 2 jardins, Russel square et Blumsberry square.
“Great Hotel”
I booked this hotel for myself my sister and my mum to celebrate her birthday and it was wonderful. The rooms were really nice the staff were brilliant and the hotel was in a really nice location. i would go back there again.
“Great Location”
Well situated hotel with easy acces to underground stations and convenient for several good resturants. Staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast more than adequate. Only down side was single glazed windows which could give a problem from noise but we did not experience any.

“Close walk to Covent Garden - nice location”
Nice hotel, friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again. I live down in Bournemouth and visited London while my brother from America was in town. The nearby parking garage was very secure and convenient. It was only about a ten minute walk to Covent Garden, but the Holburn area is nice and there are many restaurants and pubs nearby as well. I've stayed at many hotels in London, and for the price, this is up there.
“Will most definitely return!”
Thia was by far the most conveniently placed hotel I've stayed at in London - ideal for the British Museum, the Thomas Coram Foundling Hospital, new Brunswick Shopping Centre and for walking to most theatres around Drury Lane and Aldwych. The hotel staff were helpful and polite, the bedroom was comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. Most important for me when walking back to the Clarendon at night, the area felt safe. What more could one ask!
“The Clarendon ,un hôtel très agréable”
L'Hôtel est très bien placé , Bedford Place est une jolie rue anglaise, restaurants nombreux dans les alentours , pubs , stations de métro proches, gare ( St Pancras avec son arrivée Eurostar) proche aussi .Il est aussi d'une propreté exemplaire , le décor agréable est élégant et les employés disponibles et sympathiques, nous trouvions des journaux sur le pas de porte au réveil,les chambres très agréables aussi (nous avons demandé une chambre à l'étage , suivant les recommandations des précédents clients), la literie excellente,nous avons évité les petits déjeuners , très chers ,néanmoins, pas de panique , il y a de quoi faire aux alentours dans ce domaine. Notre avis qui peut sembler "trop parfait " est cependant le reflet de notre vécu dans cet hôtel qui nous laisse un très bon souvenir.
