“Quiet haven at reasonable price in central London”

The Staunton Hotel was surprisingly well appointed - indeed, all the Georgian house hotels on Gower street seem to have been renovated and upgraded recently. Our room at the top of the house and facing the rear was well equipped, comfortable, and very peaceful, wiht an interesting view over the rooftops towards Totenham Court Road.

Chambre très petite mais très confortable et bien équipée. Isolation sonore correcte. Petit déjeuner complet et abondant servi dans une petite salle à manger. Personnel discret et agréable.

“Tres bon hotel”

La proximite de Coven garden (10 minutes a pieds) font de cet hotel un lieu ideal de sejour. Tout le centre de Londres (Oxford Street,Picadilly Circus, Soho) est a 10-15 minutes a pied. Accueil chaleureux, excellente literie, petit dejeuner anglais font de cet hotel (categorie 3 etoiles) un tres bon lieu de sejour. Rapport qualite/prix (pour Londres) excellent.

“Very nice, comfortable hotel with helpful staff”

We were very pleased with our room - even though the bathroom washbasin tap was loose - the only complaint we had. The room was clean and comfortable and the cooked to order full english breakfast was excellent. We would stay there again and the staff were very kind and helpful to us.

“My new "go-to" hotel in London”

The Staunton was very pleasant, comfortable, clean, secure, and restful. The shower was great! Not too far a walk from Tottenham Court and Russell Square tube stations. Good central location and practically on the door stop of the British Musuem. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. Plenty of local eateries in the area. I will use this hotel again.

“I'll be back”

Room was larger than expected and a queen size bed was welcomed! WIFI worked well and breakfast was enjoyable with very friendly staff. Room was extremely clean - although bathroom could use a good caulking job! A very good value and I will return here next time on my trip back to London! It has a micro bathroom - but managed to get things done. It is London - so can't compare to USA hotels. A good place to stay and I would recommend it.
