“St George is a WINNER”

The hotel was absolutely wonderful...clean, comfortable, friendly. It was well situated between Regents and Hyde Parks. Bus service is immediately in front of the hotel or on neighboring Baker St. There is traffic noise reflecting its proximity to an active neighborhood, which was very safe. We walked all over London at all hours and felt secure. We greatly appreciated the free WiFi and included English breakfast, which was more substantial than American hotels' "continental" bkfst. Later in Paris we had to pay for WiFi and bkfst, which we quickly found to be better at cafes. The hotel does not have elevators and our room was 4th floor. There is no tub, but the shower was excellent. The staff was terrific and friendly, answering all our questions and directing us to grocers and shops. We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to our friends, but hope to return for another stay.

“London Fun”

During our two week Europe vacation we so enjoyed LONDON. Our hotel was centeral located to all Public Transportion that made it easy for us to get around. It was nice and crozy I would surely stay there again. Plus the price was reasonable.

“Homely Ambience and Great Location”

Helpful and accomodating staff. Clean and quiet. Close to underground train, shopping and restaurants and literally to ALL. My family had a great stay here and will come back to this hotel in the future...

“London hotel”

The staff, all of them at any hour, were polite, helpful and friendly. The room was well maintained. The breakfast was good, fresh, and in a comfortable room. I found it for my interests--mainly theater and museums--less convenient than others might have been, but many forms of transportation were available. A taxi stand for instance was less than 2 blocks away. I would use it again.

“Good value”

We stayed with our granddaughter; the hotel was a good value, especially given London prices,in a convenient location to two tube stops and good neighborhood restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. They don't have a lift but did find us a room with only one flight of stairs to navigate. The continental breakfast was better than many we've had.

Trés bon établissement pour un séjour à Londres. Trés central, calme cependant assuré. Métro assez proche. Personnel sympathique. Je recommande vraiment.

“watch those stairs!”

The rooms were nice, the location was good ... the stairs to get the room on the third floor(really 4th flr) were very steep; and there was no one to help us with our bags. Also the internet didn't work in our room (they said it was a common problem). Still, was a nice experience. I would recommend our room to anyone who can carry 50 lbs up three flights of stairs three times in a row (I think this is standard firefighter training requirements), without heart failure. If you have a heart condition you might want to skip this hotel.
