“somerset hotel”
Hotel calme et correct.très bien situé, proche de 2 stations de métro.
“Hmm”
See all the previous reviews .... accurate. Booked very last minute under pressure and once booked looked up reviews, therefore got what we expected. More of a backpackers place but not backpacking price.
“Totally overvalued”
Totally overvalued, poor cleaning, no lift, too hot or too cold water, old, it did not look clean
“Didnt like this hotel”
I would not recommend this hotel for family with children and elderly. No lift and the stairs are quite steep. The carpets are shabby and this hotel needs a makeover. Room was quite small (but that is London standard i suppose!) but when i got out of bed, i banged my head on the television and there is no way i could have avoided it. I didnt feel like going into the toilet which wasn't cleaned properly. I defintely will not be going to this hotel again. Only plus point - not much noise and a good location close to Baker street tube station.

“I won't never stay in this hotel again!!!”
This hotel has been the biggest mistake traveling, they were asking the same rate per night that I will pay for night in a 4 start hotel in a big city in USA. The hotel is far away of everything, the only good point is that it is close to one of the metro stations. But, entering to the hotel nobody was on the reception, if you want to have assistance you need to make a phone call and the staff was not friendly at all. Finally once somebody came, they took my luggage to the fourth floor, no elevators of course!!!, but nobody helped me when I was leaving, I needed to take my luggage by myself four floors down stairs!!!! The carpet was old and broken, the room was worse than a student dorm. First of all, the room was so dirty, the carpet was not clean, the bed linen was with some stains and the bed by itself was not comfortable!!! The WC did not work, they have only cold water so you need to take a cold shower and the heater was not working in the room, even it was cold outside!!! At night you can hear everything in other rooms. The room DID NOT have TV, toiletries, anything, it was just a bed!!! They offered "free breakfast buffet" and it consisted of the cheapest cereal and a cup of coffee. If you have problems in the room, NOBODY helps you and for the check-out you need to call somebody in the reception that in a bad way will tell you just leave the key and go. I was not able to change to another hotel or even complain since I was traveling alone. Check out time is 10 am!!
