“SUPER!”

Hotel très bien situé pour les gens désireux de sortir le soir (quartier branché d'Hoxton/Islington/Brick lane) mais aussi a proximité de toutes les principales attractions de Londres. Métro 5 min à pied... Personnel quasi inexistant car appart hotel mais bon accueil! On nous a gentillement donné une executive libre alors que nous avions réservé un studio.. Rapport qualité prix imbattable pour Londres que je connais très bien! Tip: en arrivant de Gatwick, evitez le Gatwick express bien trop cher et prennez un train "normal" jusqu'à London Bridge, qui se trouve à 3 stations de métro de l'hotel: rapide et bien moins cher!

“Great Hotel Apartment close to the City”

Well apponted, modern, self catering apartment , just off Old Street. Local area has plently of eateries, pubs, small shops, etc. Liverpool St station and the City are a 15 minute walk away. Ideal for business traveler working in the City.

“I would use this apartment again now that I know some of the pitfalls”

The apartment was very nice - unfortunatley the hot water heat died the last 3 days we were there and we did not realize what the problem was so did not report it until the day we left. I would also advise folks that be prepared to pay 65 - 85 pounds for a taxi if you are new to the area. Now we know to take the tube from Heathrow to Picadilly Circus then change to the North line to Old Street Station. Very convient (if you don;t have a lot of luggage to drag about).

Close to the tube station, small room, maybe a little bit more attention to the cleanliness, staff was very helpful and polite.

Nice little hotel. The street outside can be a little noisy. Very reasonable and good for a short visit.

I have booked this hotel 3 times in 8 days and every time I have been moved to another hotel. The second time they promised a reduced rate and an upgraded room. The third time they didn't tell me before I got there - I had to wait on the street while they called a taxi. The apartments look great, they are in a good location for me and they are a good price but I won't be booking with them again.

“NOT 4 STARS, Sketchy... Don't Stay Here...”

This hotel is just sketchy, I have no idea how it has 4 stars. First off read the Trip Adviser reviews. They are under Langham Apartments, which also is sketchy because I think they are using a fake name for Expedia. The reviews on Trip adviser are unflattering and all true. 1. This Place is in an ALLEY, far from anything you want to see in London. 2. When I arrived i got "the room you booked is not available, only an executive suite, but you will have to pay for the upgrade." Only after threatening to stay somewhere else and refusing to pay more was I given the available room. 3. The bathroom smelled as if it had been freshly used when I arrived. 4. Their fire alarm went off about 4 times the second night I was there. (Broken) I was totally dissatisfied and am going to complain to Expedia about this place. Bottom line, don't stay here. If you do, be prepared for what is mentioned in the reviews to happen to you.

“Be Wary of The Good Reviews for The Rivington”

I arrived at 11.45am but was told the room was not ready. I was surprised but assured that on my return at 8pm, my room would be ready. I returned at approximately 9.15pm and was told that the room was unavailable because of an air-conditioning leak into the kitchen below. (The place seems to be in a permanent state of re-build). I wanted to see this for myself (as I didn't believe them) but was told the key for the room had been taking by the manager. There were no other rooms available. I was offered a full refund or free taxi (actually, a minicab) to another location on Seven Sisters Rd. This was very inconvenient for me as I wanted to be at The Rivington so I could walk to my meeting the next day. I insisted on a complimentary taxi in the morning. This took some negotiation on my behalf which I thought disgraceful. I think at one point the women called 'Tina' asked me what my problem was! The minicab driver said that he had to ferry guests to the apartments on Seven Sisters Road maybe twice a week. Take note readers! I can't believe anyone would write a good review for this place. Are they perhaps fabricated?? I know London very well but if I was traveling alone and not familiar with London I would be pretty scared of being carted off to the less than salubrious surroundings of Holloway Road! Just don't stay there.
