“Layover at Heathrow”
Small but very well appointed rooms even the bathroom mirror was heated so no steaming up! Also the food was excellent.
“Excellent airport hotel.”
This is an ideal hotel to stay in when flying from Heathrow. The rooms are of a very good size, unlike some of the other hotels in the Heathrow area, where the rooms are no bigger than a small cupboard. The staff are really helpful and I would definately recommend anyone to stay there.
“Good for overnight stay”
The location is excellent for an overnight stay at Heathrow. Normal Marriott quality and helpfulness. They still insist on charging for WiFi, but that will change.
“Will definitely return”
I spent just a transit night there, but was very pleased with the helpful personnel, comfortable room and bed. I will definitely return to this hotel! The only delta was the business center wasn't open very late, but they had coin operated (!) computers to use after hours.
“Quick Stop”
The hotel was excellent in every respect. I would have preferred that the Expedia website that provided information about hotels near the airport was more explicit as to distance from the airport. We passed several very acceptable hotels on the way to this one, and if I had known that they were closer, I might have chosen one of them in advance. But perhaps the best thing was that, because I had booked the hotel in advance through Expedia, and paid for it, there was no hassle as to rates, and checkout took about thirty seconds - a real plus, after spending some ninety minutes checking out at another previously booked hotel, arguing over rates (booked by a different travel agency). Good show! I will definitely use Expedia again.
“Reasonably priced hotel with convenient location”
Nice hotel. No restaurants (or anything else) in the neighborhood but the free shuttle to the airport is great (every 15 min). From there, the airport train station will take you just about anywhere you want to go. Small gym at the larger Hilton up the hall is available for guests at the Apart Hotel. There is a jogging track in a huge and very beautiful park right behind the property (wooded and hilly). The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel..
“Great value with Expedia Special Rate”
Other than a somewhat cramped entry way (entirely typical of English hotels), Renaissance Heathrow is most satisfactory for a short layover before or after a flight through LHR. Quiet, comfortable beds, good climate control, and nice amenities. The conceierge proved extremely helpful in arranging for concert tickets in Windsor and in recommending ground transportation options.
“I will stay again and again”
This was a fabulous hotel with extrememly comfortable and clean rooms. The hotel staff bent over backwards to be helpful, kind and courteous. I would DEFINITELY stay again and again. Room service has gratuity included and the meals are enough to feed an army.
“Heathrow's nearest hotel”
We have stayed at this hotel many times. Very convenient for the airport. Renovations will really upgrade the hotel- now has Starbucks coffee shop...a real plus. Staff extremely welcoming even though a "transient" clientele...many airlines have their staff stay here as so convenient for the airport. If staying a few nights worth the "upgrade" offered as you get a view of the runways- fantastic viewing.
“Clean room and close to Heathrow airport”
As a woman traveling alone I felt very comfortable with this hotel and will stay here again. Easy access to Heathrow Airport. You can save money and take the hoppa straight to terminal 1,2,and 3, as this hotel is the last stop before the terminals. And then transfer to another hoppa to go to terminal 4. Or pay more and take a cab.
