Disappointing
Given the price charged, this hotel did not measure up to my expectations. The room was too small and cramped to properly accommodate 2 people. There was not even a chair in the room. Our suitcases had be either on the floor or the beds. There were no drawers so we had to live out of our suitcases while staying there. The bathroom was mostly okay, but the toilet would start running water for 5 to 10 minutes a few minutes after each flush. The staff was nice enough but the room was sub par. I've stayed at other Raddison Blus in London which I enjoyed, but this one I couldn't wait to leave.

I have had bigger baths than this room. Tiny and uncomfortable. I could touch the walls at either aide of the bed while lying in it, just difficult to get in and out of. Hotel is in a great location. Walk to shops, underground. My room was very tiny but clean. Firm mattress, very comfortable. Check in ok but since it’s online, would have been better to do in advance.

The Sussex is my go to for the last many years. Its a great location to everything. However its starting to look a little shabby. Rooms need to be redone. They have had the same carpet and drapes and art work for years, and it shows. The redo of the lobby is horribl. The furniture looks like Ikea, and the table and benchs are a terrible idea. Overall unattractive. Also after many years of returning to familiar staff, it seems like this hotel is used as a training ground and every time I return there are new people. Your location is a jewel, it needs to be polished.

Unbeatable location and class at this price point! Super quiet room. Very small but well laid out and perfect for one person. It’ll want a coat of paint sooner rather than later but charming decor. Great area - easy to avoid the Oxford Street chaos - but it’s there if you want it. I’ll be back!

Good location but unfriendly staff&old furniture!
Unfriendly staff especially Mr. Saiful, they treat guests based on their faces and nationality!! As they gave me very bad room and when I asked to change the room they refused because there was no other rooms available, suddenly one guest came in front of me and opened the website and reserved a room then they found available room for him!! My issue was solved in the night shift after I met Mr. Sasan, respectfully he changed my room to a better one. However, with all respect to mr Sasan, I will never come again to this hotel!!

Stayed two nights. Lovely staff and breakfast great. Room comfortable and had everything you need. The only bad point was no view from window only a courtyard with a dead plant and two ? Water tins. We did ask for a different room but other room available only had a tiny window.

I was really impressed with my stay the room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic! I arrived early to store my bag as I did not plan to get back until late that night and was instead able to check in early. Overall a great stay.

No upgrade and they clearly had a room available as I heard the two receptionists speaking quietly to one another about this at check-in, but despite this and a pre arrival request to be upgraded due to suffering from claustrophobia they gave me a box room at the back (with Wi-Fi connection issues as well)
