Great Location, good service and facilities

We booked 1 night stay to see the Lord Mayor's fireworks and have a lovely place to stay. The staff were very professional and pleasant. Our executive room on the 12th Floor had iconic views of the Millenium Wheel and Big Ben. Breakfast was £13 so not too badly priced for a ****4star hotel - excellent selection and all tastes catered too. My only gripes are that the £4 extra charge for Eggs Florentine or a Virgin Mary are are irritating. Also the bed was not as comfortable as one would have expected - rather thin mattress which really let down and otherwise luxurious and well designed room with all the usual 'added extras' and a few more....

First time we have visited London and it was great

Posted 9-Nov-2014
Pros: The hotel was very nice, clean, quiet and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: More space to store your own refrigerated needs. Not occupied with items i did not request.
Location: It was the perfect spot to see the most important thing about London
It was very educational and interesting. Thing I learn about in school when I was younger I got see them first hand. It was so amazing to see how Buildings were still in tack from a 100's of years ago. The abbey was the most interesting to me. (Tombs)

Central Location

Posted 6-Nov-2014
Pros: Location great, staff friendly
Cons: In the room we had we could not walk past the end of the bed without removing chair as quite big and heavy
Location: Great location for visiting London Eye,Thames Boat trip,The Shard & Tower of London. Not a fan of the tube so great able to be in walking distance
Staff friendly and helpful - allowing us to leave our bags there when we arrived early so that we didn't have to take them with us when sight seeing. Was bettter value than staying at Premier Inn even with Breakfast. Breakfast was very busy but then it was half term, but plenty of food on offer and replenished frequently to make sure everyone still had a good choice. Would recommend having breakfast early during school holidays, we went down for 8.45 had to queue for a while. We had two rooms one for us and the other for my parents ( I work in a school hence having to go during school holidays). Their room was much bigger than ours, it was a room that overlooked the centre of the hotel. Our room felt much more cramped. Unable to walk past end of bed without moving chair or if one of us sat on the end of the bed had to move to let other one pass. Rooms were same price. Great location and central for a lot of attractions, would stay again. Staff at front desk polite and courteous. Great being able to leave bags there when we arrived early to get sight seeing started and the next day whilst we continued

Pros: Staff were excellent friendly and efficient
Cons: More plates at the breakfast self service area.
Location: Location was excellent especially with small kids that will not walk far, just over the bridge is Westminster and Big Ben.
Excellent room set up the kids can be put to bed and you can sit in the other area with the telly and lights on.

Modern comfortable welcoming hotel.

Posted 1-Nov-2014
Pros: Location, style and helpful staff.
Cons: No need for improvement, just keep up the current good level of service.
Location: Near Westminster Bridge. Lots to see and do in this area. River cruises, London Eye, Big Ben, House of Lords, Houses of Parliment and lots more.
I would recommend the Park Plaza County Hall Hotel to anyone who appreciates good service , excellent staff, comfort and a good night's sleep! Our room was spotless , well equipped and so quiet . Look forward to another visit.

Great hotel in great location

Posted 1-Nov-2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Toilet roll holder in bathroom
Location: Perfect location, just behind the London eye.
We stayed at this hotel for a 2night break in a deluxe double room. The location was perfect for us as everything was within walking distance. Our room was on the third floor and overlooked the atrium. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely big bathroom, the only thing that I found strange was that it didn't have a toilet roll holder! All in all a great stay and we would definitely return.
