Beautiful hotel, great location, amazing staff!

Posted 10-Sep-2014
Thank you for an amazing stay. Beautiful hotel, great location with easy access to transit. But more importantly your staff is top notch! Always welcoming, joining in conversation, and looking to offer help. Was pleasantly surprised upon check in to find out we had been upgraded - I presume because we were a family and needed a little extra space. Very children friendly - and a nice little chocolate surprise upon return from a day trip to find a special treat left for the kids to enjoy. Restaurant staff were pleasant as well, although service at times felt a little slow. Overall, glad I selected this hotel thanks to the recommendations and should we return to London, we'll consider booking here again!

Perfect Location for a short visit to London

Posted 8-Sep-2014
Pros: Perfect Location for a short visit to London for pleasure and for business. Late check out 12 pm.
Location: The hotel is only a 2 min. walk away from the London Eye, the London Aquarium and the Bus Stop for the London Bus Tour.
We liked: Excellent Hotel facilities, delicious all-you-can eat Breakfast with the choice of Full English or Continental Breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. We didn't like: Our room had no outside view, very dark, the curtains needed to be closed all time. We only stayed one night so this was no big problem. But when booking again, we will only book a room with a outside view.

Very disapointed

Posted 1-Sep-2014
Beds were SHOCKING. The most uncomfortable two nights. Hard stiff thin old mattress. The pull out sofa bed has bars which can be felt and cause severe back ache. The so-called city view (that was a selling factor in the website using a panoramic view evidently taken from another hotel) was actually Waterloo train station with a few spires in the distance. The graffiti added that extra ambiance.

Fantastic hotel: stone's throw from the south ban

Posted 1-Sep-2014
My husband, daughter and i stayed at this hotel for one night, after my brother's wedding at the south bank centre. We couldn't fault it!we'd got a reduced rate 10 days before so weren't expecting much. We were more than pleasantly surprised that our requested early check in was available, the travel cot was clean and set up, we had floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides, with great views, an amazing shower, and an even better breakfast. Would highly recommend!

Great Location

Posted 1-Sep-2014
Location: Great location minutes from the London Eye and Aquarium and a short walk over Westminster Bridge to Big Ben and Houses of Parliament.
Stayed with our grandaughter in a Studio room who was very excited to see Big Ben and the London Eye from our window. Studio rooms are ideal for families with tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave and very comfy beds. Great location and reception staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel was dissapointed that there wasnt a pool, also we went into the park plaza westminster by mistake which is next door and this was a top class hotel and when you go into the county hall park plaza you can see the differance beds were to low and hard and poor quality pillows the room was good with a small kitchen which ment you can keep costs down by heating your own food if on a budget our room overlookd waterlo station but the glazing is very good and you cant hear the trains good location for westminter and river and london eye bit over priced but then again london very expensive i would rate hotel 3 not 4 star hotel

Nice hotel close to attractions

Posted 17-Aug-2014
Stayed in junior suite which works well with kids as sitting room / kids bedroom is separate from main bedroom area. There is a kitchenette faculty with microwave. Kettle , fridge and crockery. Only downside is the open atrium of the hotel can mean that noise carries upwards from the restaurant / bar area on the ground floor.

Very central hotel - great for families!

Posted 9-Aug-2014
Pros: Proximity to everything either by walking or Tube. Nice family suite with two separate sleeping areas.
Cons: The available space in the mini fridge was extremely small and not very cold, so not great for self catering.
Location: Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, London Eye, Sea Life Aquarium, Churchill Bunker.
We stayed in August 2014 for a 6 day family trip to London. We were very pleased with the location, quality and service. I would highly recommend to any families who want a good location and good quality hotel. A few minute walk to the London Eye, 5 minute walk to Big Ben and the Parliament buildings and a 5 minute walk to both the Westminster and Waterloo Tube stations. We were lucky to get a room with a partial view of the London Eye.
