Great location, practically across the street from the London Eye. Short walk across bridge to Big Ben. Staff is very friendly, especially the wait staff at the hotel restaurant and the bar.

A classy hotel, close to Waterloo and Westminster

Posted 27-Jul-2015
Pros: All the staff worked hard to accommodate customers. The room was large, very modern and comfortable.
Cons: The restaurant was not at all well organised.
Location: It's right on the Southbank, close to Parliament House, Westminster Bridge, the Eye and the subway.
Our room was very good but it was a bit depressing not being able to see the sky. If I stayed there again I'd pay for a room that had some outside view. The restaurant was not at all well organised. We went there twice, the second time because we were too tired to go elsewhere. The service staff tried hard but appeared to be inexperienced. The main course appeared far too quickly, before the starter was finished. Other diners had the same experience. We found a nearby restaurant with far better food and service.

Great family location

What a great find. Studio suite was great as a family base. Parking was tight in the car park next door!

Nice hotel, great location

Posted 27-Jul-2015
Though we had some minor inconveniences in the hotel room, we were happy with our decision. The inconveniences included an easily flooding shower, shower and tub handle parts easily falling off, a stained cover and uncomfortable sofa bed mattress. But overall, the hotel was nice, the staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the location was ideal!

Lovely family friendly

Lovel hotel ideally located in the South bank area. Facilities are very good and staff very attentive. Kids got a welcome pack including vouchers to use for juice and chocolate in the bar. We thought that was a very nice touch.

Enjoyable, quiet stay

Posted 26-Jul-2015
Pros: Staff were really helpful, food in restaurant was gorgeous (not breakfast buffet)
Cons: Making sure that the breakfast buffet food is HOT....
Location: Fantastic, really close to loads e.g. london eye, river cruise, dungeons, shrek adventure, aquarium etc etc
Reception were really good and very helpful, room was good, bit tight if using the pull out sofa too, otherwise clean and good sized, room 826 waw our, really convenient for the elevator, not good views tho, definately couldnt see the London Eye. We ate in the restaurant, food was really really nice, just very lapse in the orders, they "forgot" my sons kids pizza, although they gave us some excuse about the oven not working, however they did compensate by not charging us for our daughters dinner instead....... we had a snack there in the afternoon and the waiter got the drinks wrong, but hey everyone has an off day, breakfast buffet was cold!!!!! ....the staff were all very attentive and made us all very welcome. despite our little mishap we would recommend this place to stay.... just a 5 minute walk to all the attractions, shrek, dungeons, eye, river cruise etc etc.

Great location, nice room layout

Posted 25-Jul-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Housekeeping, leaking shower (leaks out / under corner of glass door) Overpriced breakfast Increase front desk staff
Location: Westminster Abbey London Eye Thames Big Ben/ House of Parliament BrakeAway Bike tour - Waterloo
Family with two kids (10 and 12) enjoyed four nights here. Fold-out full-sized bed is very firm, but fine for kids. Bathroom is tight but very updated, with a nice shower and tub. Nice decor in lobby and restaurant. Did not use restaurant, as we preferred buying crepes on the street! Excellent location - right by Waterloo station, which we used constantly, and right around the corner from the London Eye and the Thames. Short, beautiful walk to Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. We don't get the room view upgrade that we had requested and the front desk/concierge often was harried and overwhelmed. Housekeeping came late in the day.

Tæt på alting, rigtig godt til prisen

Posted 23-Jul-2015
