Palmers Lodge Swiss Cottage is a unique hostel ideal for central London. Located near Swiss Cottage tube station in Zone 2, this Victorian Grade II listed building was the former home of Samuel Palmer of the Huntley and Palmers Biscuit Empire, this impressive building has benefited from a substantial restoration which has gradually been brought back to its original splendour now offering the international traveller all the facilities and surroundings you would expect in a Boutique Backpackers and more. Executive Double en-suite

Stay in style in our Executive Double en-suite rooms. Every room has a double bed a TV, tea and coffee facilities, desk, chairs and spacious en-suite facilities.

Twin En-Suite

Our Twin (two single beds in bunk form) en-suites are equipped with solid bunk beds, chairs and security lockers.

Dorms

Take the load of your feet in our comfortable dorms most of which are equipped with solid hand crafted bunk beds made from wood recovered from the historic Chelsea Barracks. Most rooms have a sink and plenty of under bed storage space, as well as key or padlock operated secure lockers.

Key Card Security System

Feel secure in knowing that your room can only be accessed by the use of a proximity key card issued at reception. These cards allow restricted access to wings of the building, to your particular room and to your locker in your room (Hillspring site) . Swiss Cottage site operates ving card electronic locks as well but due to our unique boutique design the under-bed storage lockers are padlock operated.

Individual in-room lockers and outside storage room

Every guest is given access to a large, in-room locker which can only be opened by your room key or padlock key but for larger items we provide storage in our secure luggage rooms free of charge for the length of your stay.

24 hours notice (from check in time) is required in order not to incur charges. The cancellation notice has to be sent by email. Please note that PHOTO I.D. is required at check in. Under 18s must be accompanied by an over 18 adult booked into the same private room. Written authorization signed by their parents and copies of parents ID's are needed.

For Group Bookings of over 15 persons you will need to contact the groups department directly, to make sure that we allocate as many of you in the same room(s). Contact the hotel using the information in the confirmation received after booking.
